The poster you replied to clearly stated not all Brexit voters are racist.

Absolutely, I wouldn't want to think that all who voted Brexit are racist and extreme racists.
I do think they're perhaps a bit gullible to believe that the same government that caused this situation (i.e. wide open door) is going to fix anything and make it better.
The UK needs fresh blood in power.

We desperately need proper statesmen back, and to do something about the press. I think an excellent start would be a complete ban of foreign owners and influence in any media based here or selling papers/broadcasting in the UK that covers news and politics. We're currently allowing propaganda from foreign interests to influence the electorate.

On that basis, we should also ban the BBC. That would also be an excellent start. I'm sick of hearing them using the words 'despite Brexit'.

    No, please not another referendum.

As Tromking says, it's been won.
The way back in will be via Article 49, after brexit brings the UK to its knees.

Oh mayo, you are living in dreamland.

Although the Brexit vote was clearly won, I do not think it would have taken much for remain to win. I do not blame the EU for not giving concessions to Cameron because if he had wanted to reduce immigration he had control of over half of the immigration to the country and well basically done nothing. So to then expect the EU to give the UK concessions which of course wouldn't lead to other countries asking for concessions at all seems surprising.

I also do not think it helped the vote that there are large numbers of illegal immigrants who live in this country and have done for years. The message from the government is very much not listening don't care not bothered.

Note I do not at all blame immigrants for wanting a better life after all don't we all want the same.

Whilst all the above is just focused on the one issue alone even a small movement on this might have swung the vote.

I'm sure all the nurses forced into using food banks will be delighted to learn that it is their own fault for not being super hard working.

Maybe they can take their skills to the Congo.

Some nurses use food banks. Others find no difficulty buying their own homes and enjoy a good standard of living.

    Go figure.

So what you're telling us is that people who voted to stop immigration (apparently) have been unduly influenced by the foreigners who they now want to ban. And your solution is to ban those foreigners because that will mean people won't want to ban foreigners.

    Thanks rusty.

But that doesn't make sense. All nurses are angels and must therefore have equally impeccable personal financial skills. None of them would ever get into debt or use online gambling because the sunlight that shines out of their bottoms would prevent them from seeing the application form.

You're going to need to explain how the BBC is foreign owned.

haha sick of hearing the words 'despite brexit' - this gets parroted all the time below the line on BBC articles by the bores there, who despite hating the BBC are constantly on it! It's not an example of BBC bias, they say 'despite brexit' because the majority consensus amongst politicians, civil service, businesses, experts and so on, is that there will be serious repercussions.

There's a vast difference between if they were saying "and today it will rain, despite brexit", and "inflation has fallen, despite brexit" - in the latter, they're just not saying the full thing which would be inflation has fallen despite brexit's impact on the value of sterling, which has increased the costs of imports.

If you're so fed up of it, just go to the express, sun, and daily mail - they're very fond of your beloved brexit and are less likely to say anything that might upset you :)
