Hi can I join is please? I realised after spending £60 on a weekly shop in Aldi for 2 adults and a toddler  that my spending is out of control!! That's easily double what I have been known to spend.
I'm on maternity leave at the moment and ohs income is unreliable right now so we need to pay more attention.
I'm going to set a budget of £250 This month and see where we end up. That will include cleaning products and nappies. I may be way out but we will see. Also the baby will start weaning later this month so that will be another mouth to feed :eek:0 -
In for my 2nd month
£280
Thank you to the lovely people who organise this challenge. Good luck everyone.0 -
Hi everyone, I'm in for July with £150 as usual.
For me, July is running from 24 June till 25 July.
I've actually already spent slightly over 2/3 of my budget.
I know, that's scary!! But I did it very carefully to maximise offers (eg the Ocad0 one I saved over £15) and it is all my cupboard stuff stocked up again, plus things like veggie stuff and tofu for the month, some toiletries, plus my veg for the first week (slightly shorter one as I shop on a Thursday), but that will have veg left over for week 2. The plan is that the vast majority of my £10 a week from this point on should be on just fresh veg, but for example next week I know there will be a tin of coconut milk if it's still on offer at 75p, plus some risotto rice.

Can you put me down for £100 again please?
I went over in June but I should easily be able to do this as we're going away on holiday for a week in July with my parents and since we paid for the holiday cottage they will buy all the food for the week.
Also I have a packed store cupboard and freezer so there are no excuses!0 -
just realised that I upped my target last month by £10 to cover most of the cost of cleaning goodies and ended up ekeing out what I had so haven't bought any yet. in fact I was most amazed I was £20 under my usual £160 .
therefore can I up my target to £170 to cover these please? many thanks0 -

Hi all!
It's been a while since I've participated in a grocery challenge. I'd gotten into a really organised routine of meal planning, shopping once a week and batch cooking but after an unsettled few months I've lost that focus. Hopefully this will motivate me. I try to aim for £80 a week for the 2 of us but that includes all spends rather than just groceries. We're away for a week and we'll be eating out a lot, the money for this is already saved up in the holiday fund so I'm not going to include that week. I'm going to aim for £50 per week for the other 3 weeks so please put me down for £1500
