shopped at lidles on Friday morning for 'families weekend' and was really pleased that it came in at £24.29, with the morries shop I did a few days previously (£16.73) it's left me with about £23 til payday. not overly pleased about that but it can't be helped.
am at hospital in London tomorrow having a CT guided nerve root injection, which it sounds odd but i'm sort of looking forward to it, I guess daily pain for two years will do that
because my appointment is mid afternoon and it'll take me a goodly while to get home I have decided to pick up fish and chips tomorrow for tea (if I fancy any at all), i'll take the cost from savings pot for the month.0 -
I went to buy some porridge oats today at lunchtime and bought a few extras like coconut peanut butter (yum!), desiccated coconut, lemons, limes and a bag of peppers with no green ones in (always a win). All stuff I will happily use and not too much spent at £6.39.

My boss gave me some runner beans today, this led me to look up runner beans recipes and I decided upon a feta pasta dish.
Went and bought tesco salad cheese for 90p, one red onion for 17p, orange juice which we needed for 79p and a milkshake for OH who came home from work ill today for £1, which is a big chunk of what was remaining of the budget so now have £1.65 left till Thursday.
We in theory should be fine as long as I can convince OH to have 'freezer bread'.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

tomato puree 40p
4 x courgettes 50p
£1.90 in the budget if I was to make the £40 target, but really £31.90 left. Hopefully that's me done now for the month.
For any vegans (or non really), had a lovely lunch at a little vegan cafe in Kings Cross called Vegan Boutique (not out of grocery spends), supposed to sell vegan clothing, never saw that (thankfully, i'm meant to be saving), maybe it was upstairs - anyway just thought it was worth a mention.0
