I purchased some fred perry shoes from this website 3 weeks ago -

I havent had delivery of them yet. On the email it said that the bill was £68.64 however on my bank statement i have been charged -

£75.05 CTBILL Maxshopping
£ 2.24 International debit card transaction fee
£ 1.00 International debit card purchase fee

In the meantime I have received a delivery of a completely different pair of shoes. On the address label they have come from China.

Given the unconvincing nature of the website, I think you can safely assume you won't be receiving what you were expecting.

Sadly it looks like you paid by debit card?

Indeed!

But the worst thing is that these people seem to be making crude records of the transactions; it is possible to obtain email addresses for a large number of their "customers".

I have not been able to find OP's email address, but I'm confident that it has been freely available to the public for a limited period of time...

they dont even have an SSL cert at checkout, so if you order then all your details are not encrypted, so can be stolen by anyone

the OP can still go to the bank and start a chargeback as enough evidence to show they have been scammed.

While he certainly can try, there is no weight of law behind Chargeback.

Will the Bank agree to refund even though the website purchased from is obviously fake?

I have my doubts..
