    Good journey tonight!!

Went to the local cash and carry :)

Got 6 bottles of baby oil, 6 bottles of baby bath and 6 bottles of baby lotion for £5 each :D (for a pack of 6). A pack of 45 pampers nappies for £4 and 6 bottles of Hardys wine for £15 :D

Thats a few basics for the cakes sorted! Now I just need some orders!!!

I have been trying to wrap my nappy cake with cellophane, do you think I can do it? Can I heck!!! How, what am I doing wrong? Are there any instructions about on how to wrap them or am I just completely mad!!! ...... Agggghhhh

Hi Karrinelleno ... there is a quick picture here which Rainmac so kindly did. It was for hampers but it is the basic to any wrapping on nappy cakes aswell

Hello Karinelleno wrapping is a bit of a nightmare but it does get easier. I tend to cut the cellophane so that its approx 6 inches higher than the cake. I then gather the edges together at top and secure with a elastic band. I fold the sides in and secure it underneath the cake with cellotape.
    Hope that helps

    Hello,
I've been lurking for a while and am in awe at all the lovely cakes here.
I've just finished my first cake, for a neice's baby boy - it's not as neat as I would have liked, but I had so much fun shopping for it and making it.
I would appreciate any comment as two cousins are expecting in the next 2 months and I want to try again.
I've included 50 nappies, the centre is a rolled travel changing mat and various freebie bits (thanks Sainsburys/Nectar) , organic baby lotion, organic baby wash, hooded towel, blanket, baby vests, socks, toy. Total cost about £25 (favourite neice!)

I've been bitten by the bug now I'm trying a wedding towel cake too!
    Thanks everyone :T

Shelley, just to let you know they have accepted my account and apparently my order for the ribbon has been shipped, however there are no prices on the order nor shipping charges. Once and if I recieved it I will let you know full price inc postage and details of the company. I'm still not 100% convinced that there is hidden charges somewhere but we will see.
