Hi Chazzy, You're right - they do look quite tall but they are all on a 7 inch board and stand 5 inch high. I've used the same "Matalan" Burp cloths that everyone is using on all of them. I have even folded some underneath so they wouldn't be as tall. Might be an optical illusion with the stripes. I have been trying out different nappies instead of Pampers and these are Tesco "own" newborn size 2. I don't like them - they are stiffer and not shaped at the front, and I found them difficult to roll so I have left them whole and put them around a central "rolled" one and fastened with an elastic band. I then took out the rolled one and put my goodies in there.

Emma - There are only 7 nappies in the Minis, 1 burp cloth, 1 toy and in the middle I have put 1 short sleeved all- in- one vest, 1 pr socks and 1 bib, all rolled up together like a nappy.

Hi Shelley - Quick answer to that is NO!! I'm crazy - have been experimenting making them but havn't even attempted selling yet. Me thinks the time has come!!!

How are you doing with your orders? Are you finding people want a particular one or 3 tiers only etc?

Yes I think the time has definitely come - they will be selling like hot cakes (pardon the pun)!!
I'm finding the 3 tiers are definitely more popular. Although this week i've had orders for cupcakes and a 2 tier. I've got 4 outstanding at mo but haven't been able to make them this weekend because of my bad shoulder. Will try and catch up tomorrow hopefully my arm will be better then :)

Your minis are great! they look lovely!

I have used tesco's size 2's tonight for a nappy cake for a friend who had a baby on sat morning by section. I thought they were alright and quite liked them, easier to roll and looked neater than the size 3's in pampers baby dry/huggies/pampers activefit I normally use.

Hi Shelley hows the shoulder? sounds like you had a good night!

OOOOO the shoulder Rusty is a nightmare. I did a spectacular rugby dive outside a nightclub so really feeling the results now. Its eased a little today and I managed to drive the car but i was secretly hoping it would be still bad by Weds so I wouldn't have to go to work!! We did have a good day and night though. My OH went on the stag do last night and was throwing up when he came. Needless to say I booted him out of bed and he had to sleep in the guest room LOL. I even made him get up to take the children to school today :p:p:p

Hiya Rusty, Yeah! The Tesco nappies did look neater but I thought they felt a bit stiff. On the Pampers though, they sometimes look uneven because they are soft. I found a bowl and placed all 7 around edge (with flat front on outside edge so it would sit flatter). I put a rolled up one in middle and then put elastic band over to bring it together and emptied it out of dish. It was just a matter of tidying up and spacing the edges neatly and it was done. It was sooo easy and really neat. Dipped a bit in middle which was good to sit toy in.

Ooooh never thought of using a bowl and doing it that way! I made up one tonight which is being collected tomorrow by Kevin the courier man lol (is it sad that I am on first name basis with the man at DHL?) and I have partially finished one for friend using size 2's can't finish completely though as I need to nip into newcastle and get a blanket from primark lol however I have completely done the top tier :D
