Well I have completed my first stall in Spain !!!!
As I expected, I didn't sell one nappy cake, but at least people have now seen them and hopefully word will get round.
Had some great feedback, everyone thought they were beautiful and a fantastic idea.
Lots of leaflets have been taken (just hope they are not all going to do them!!) A few have asked where I will be next time, and a couple have said they will be in touch. So fingers crossed.
The woman on the stall next to me, is part of some 'womens business group' thingy and has said that it would be worth me joining, as lots of ideas for building up your business, free advertising on their site as well as reduced costs ie. printing and shopping in many places. Also, lots of women attend, and obviously if they dont need the cakes, maybe someone else they know does.
Plus .... best of all, she has told me where she buys all her cellofane and ribbons from, only 20 mins drive from home :T
Sold lots of 'toilet rolls' (gift gag), flannel cakes, mug gifts, jars of nothing.
I also had some packs of photocards (10 in a pack from the pound shop), of which I had bag'd up separately, and completely sold them all .... nice profit.
It was great fun, so going to do the car boot on Wednesday too, to get word of my cakes around even more.A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
They will probably think I am total nuts, what with nappy cakes, flannel cakes, jars of nothing, loo rolls, balls of life, bean bubble bath ..... maybe it is just as well that I didnt have time to finish the 'pickled bums' ..... they'd be locking me up !!A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0

I'd like to included a spurs theme if possible though :rolleyes:0 -
Hey Bellag, You should of seen the look on the face of one spanish woman, she was really studying my jar of '100% Natural Bubble Bath' really closely ..... obviously wondering why on earth this silly english woman was selling a jar of dried beans !!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Hi CandyB101, You're right I would have loved to have seen her face! lol :rotfl: :T . I'm sure your gonna get loads of orders soon...keep us posted!
