Hi Wendy I noticed you are from South Wales me too !!!!
Are you near Bridgend? If so the Family Value shop there sells spotty rolls for £4.99 for about 30 metres.
This is a pic of one i've made using the teddies from M&S but i'm not sure if I really like them.
I personally prefer the 3 tier so thats probably why i'm not so keen. Have had another order today for the same.Little Miss Chatterbox

Think I prefer the Asda ones but just haven't been able to get them recently. I love using the Asda lion and max and milly bear but I just can't get them at mo.
This is a mock set up of my nappy cake stall and I much prefer the toys on the cakes here but i'm gutted because you just can't get them now.Little Miss Chatterbox

Small world Wendy!!! Yes the shop is in the town centre but I could always get it for you and send it on.
I use a baby blanket which I roll to the height of the nappies and then pin at the back.
Are you in UHW?Little Miss Chatterbox

Aww Thanks everyone - the xmas bits came from the disney store and the santa outfit from the mamas and papas store. They were all in the sale last year and were recovered from the understairs cupboards and put to good use!!
hehe xDebt Free Jan 2010!(Be happy) the state of your life is nothing more than the state of your mind! X:j0 -
Shelley your stand and cakes are absolutely fantastic and so professional looking...better than anything I've seen on the web!:T
Liz_uk your Xmas cakes are fab and go really well with the dotty cellophane. i have some xmas stuff given to the boys last year that still have labels on so I think I may get all that out and create something Christmassy too!:T
I've had a good day shopping (both boys in nursery woohoo! :j ). Went to Debenhams sale and got loads of half price designer baby clothes and booties so I can make some 'Luxury cakes'. Got a load of 2 for £5 teddies from big ASDA and then a load of Johnsons toiletries from Costco. I also managed to get 5 double wall boxes from a cage in costco that they just leave for customers to help themselves. They just happened to be the right size for my three tiers! :rotfl: I would have picked up more but couldnt fit anymore in the car! lol
Right better get cracking on some cakes.....I'm loving this hobby!
