4 to go lol I am still in the middle of making this one up for a friend but can't finish it as I have no blanket as yet! I keep picking at the one I have done for our friend and can't stop fiddling. I guess cause it is for a close friend I want it to be perfect! plus it is all smaller in height as I used size 2 nappys!
Glad your shoulder is a bit betterRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Shelley can I ask a question please??? ... you use feathers on your cakes I noticed, how do you position them? I don't normally use them but picked some up quite cheap yesterday and wanted to use them just for the one cake for a friend. I use clothing/muslins on all my tiers which I know you normally just keep them plain and a blanket on the bottom but I'm not sure where to put the feathers! is it just a case of fiddling and hope they look ok?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0

Hi Rusty ... I tend to place a feather on the top tier in front of the soft toy which stays in position by just placing behind the ribbon (does that make sense?). I use marabou feathers which are quite fluffy and soften the cake up a bit.
I sometimes place two feathers either side of the second tier and again just push the feather behind the ribbon.
