Hi everyone, and thanks for all the great tips and info on here! Here is my first attempt at a nappycake for my daughter, who's baby boy is due around 4th October. My first Grandchild!

I made it in a hurry... and really wanted the top layer to be white.... it looks like a loo roll!

Phew think that was it. I'm fairly pleased with it, I don't normally like alot on the outside of my cakes but didn't ahve much choice with this one!

That is amazing!!

And so generous of you mum buying all that stuff as a gift for her staff member.

Yep my Good Old Mum, she is very generous and I'm sure they'll be really pleased. I think alot of people tend to forget about the guys at work! Always the girlies that get the baby pressies so nice for him that she's arranged this for them both. Although knowing most 22 year old blokes I think beer would be better received! :rotfl:
