Ok, here goes. This is my first nappy cake and on a very strict budget. It's for my friends daughter for her 1st birthday. I'm afraid it's no where near as good as all of yours. I just hope it is ok enough to give as a present???

Clarabell - that is really lovely well done. I think the 1st birthday ones are harder to make. You've done a cracking job and your friend is going to be thrilled :T:T:T:T:T

:( Clarabell I can't see it either, I found the only way I could upload photos was by registering with imageshack and uploading them to their webpage. They will then give you the link that you can insert into the forum discussions. (sounds more complicated than it is!)

Shelley all I can say is I think managing to get that flipping photo tent back in the bag obviously gave me the practice at fitting the impossible into small spaces! My Mum said it was lovely but did I screw the clothes up! Lol! I said no they are folded and rolled! I'm not too happy with the top tier as it's a bit lumpy and bumpy as not all nappies on the outer edge.

I'm sure they'll love it though, they're a young couple and haven't got a penny to rub together so I'm sure they'll appreciate the sheer volume of items in it if nothing else! :rotfl:

    Thanks Shelley,

Now got to get to work on making some cakes for this craft stall in a couple of weeks. Going to do some of the boxes of cupcakes aswell as people might be more inclined to take those at £10 a box.

Went into sainsburys today and they had some bits in the sale so picked up some packs of boys bodysuits reduced to £2.50 for 7! and sleepsuits £3 for 3. I got lots of Winnie the Pooh Bears las weekend aswell from there.

Thanks you! I'm still not sure about it. I was like this in doubt when I made my first few baskets aswell. I think to myself - just because I think they look good doesn't mean everyone else will! :p

The teddy on top is from the bear factory and it sings happy birthday. I got this from an ex boyfriend many years ago (more than 6!) and it has been a cello bag pretty much since. It still sings like new. I had to be moneysaving with my holiday coming up!
