Congratulations... post us a pic please? Also was it presented to you on the top of a cup a cake sock?

Wow I am very impressed with ALL our nappycakes. I stumbed across this thread as I was hoping to make a nappycake for our friends who are due to have a baby girl in August. Just a couple of questions... when you nake the nappy cake how do you secure onto cake coard and also to you wrap blankets (vests etc) around the nappies? Hope that makes sense? Also not sure if anyone uses alcohol for their nappy cakes but sainsburys have the mini bottles of wine on offer - 4 bottles for £5.00 (they are normally £2.00 per bottle) Hope this helps someone.

  • Lovely cakes people,

I have finally completed a couple of cakes, what do you's think?

    Giraffe 2 Tier: 2886_94939885900_504210900_2910143_698159_n.jpg

    Pink 2 Tier:

    Mini cakes:

My only problem now is pricing - and finding customers!! Oh and I need to make some bows for them :-)

I was thinking £13.99 for the 2 tier and £5.99 for the mini cakes.

Do you's think this is ok or too much?

    Any help/advice appreciated.

    Hello all,

Firstly I am going to apologise in advance for my post; but it has to be said.

I have just been browsing this nappy cake thread and saw all of the stuff about website copying etc.
    I can not believe it!

Not only Rusty have you been copying MY website but others as well! How can you still come on here?!!

You have copied and pasted a whole paragraph from my 'about us' page and just changed the names!

I have had my website for a considerable length of time and I have all of the content from my website logged and officially dated so don't even try to say I copied you!

All of the content on my website is copyright. I suggest you google this to find out what that means.

You are walking on thin ice by copying different websites, I hope you realise the severity of what you are doing. It will catch up with you eventually.

This message is nothing nasty, I'm not out to victimise but merely state the facts. Everything in this message is a fact so even if you are Rusty's best friend on here, she has copied, there is no denying it, she is ruining this thread for everyone and making a very big rod for her own back.

I suggest Rusty, if you don't like what I've said then do the honest thing and remove all content from your website that you have copied for various people.

Then we can stop all this and carry on with our nappy caking :)

Apologies once again to everyone that had to read this but I have tried numerous times to contact Rusty and have had no communication.

My website was registered back in June last year, yours a lot later according to the dates so please check your facts, my website also has logs of when the pages were created so maybe you should get your facts right.

Also for the records ladies, for anyone who is interested, please check out my website at

https://www.tiers-for-rears.co.uk (this is my website and has been up and running since June 2008)

    Then go and check https://www.tiers-for-rears.com

Amazingly this person who has limited posts on here has bought the domain name for my company using my copyrighted name (who is being naughty with copyrights here?) and set it up as her own website or rather part of her own website, this was done on 04/04/2009 and logged.

The message was recieved 2 days ago and is currently being checked. However if you care to read your messages you will see that you actually have a message through your website or rather through my copyrighted domain name that you chose to register as your own. So maybe you would like to take all of this off here and stop throwing around accusations when you know full well that what you have done is out of order.

Happy nappy cake making to you :)

I can't quite believe that someone has done this!! Surely there is some sort of legal case you can bring?? I know I would!!

It is just dispicable - how many orders have gone through this site that should have been yours Rusty?? I know I would like to know!
 Thanks to everybody in the crafting threads who inspired me to start my own business!!
