As a newbie to all this I have to say these recent messages have taken the shine off all of this for me really. It seems such a shame that this thread is not being used the way it was set up for. It's actually now put me off coming on here altogether as it just seems there is a lot of meanness going on and it just makes me feel sad!

I've just googled tiers for rears and only your site appears in my list rusty. and several times I might add.

If you google nappy cakes neither comes up on either the first or second page.

call me dim but I can't see which bit is supposed to be copied with just name changes?

Surely there are only so many ways of describing what is basically the same thing? :cP

As I said before I am not out to victimism or bully anyone, this is a brilliant forum with some very talented people. It is just a shame that one person works really hard and another comes along and takes it and names it as their own.

Sarah, you are actually copying a trademark, which is illegal as it is my mark of trading. So your pettyness at taking the .com name which was available as we hadn't bought it as yet could actually land you in trouble. I admit that a few weeks ago I posted up a link to my website, however if you bothered to check the details you will see that the website has been up and running for ages.

Also you call me a liar about the email? read the original post again. I said the email was recieved 2 days ago which it was. I didn't say that was when you had sent it!

You can rest your case as much as you like. The facts are there, you have blatently used a trademark name to try and obtain business for yourself, which can land you in trouble, you have also openly admitted this on a forum.

Not out to victimise anyone? yet you can blatantly use someones name? and drag things up on a forum? when you had at the time a post count of 3??? you have contact details yet thought you were being clever broadcasting things on a forum, which has backfired on you by taking my name!!!
Any more problems regarding this I suggest you use the email system through the website as you previously have. I also suggest you check your emails on your website as an email was sent to you on saturday night with regards to the other domain name.

Keep this off the thread as my website has nothing to do with this site, and neither does yours! you know the email contact details so do it through that way!

Please use PM/Emails, and keep it off this forum, the girls are here to enjoy this thread.

Having followed and lurked for ages and marvelled at you ladies' creativity I have finally taken the plunge and have begun to make some nappy cakes and other baby gifts for family, friends and at a small local Spring Fair.....am however feeling a bit nervous about posting piccies due to recent activity on the thread - such a shame but am sure this is what goes on out there in the big bad world of business and competition.......as one of the acts on Britains Got Talent said 'I am chasing the dream not the competition' . Throughout our lives we will all have what we think are unique and original ideas ...whether through words written or items created but unless you are able to protect those ideas by legal means and if you allow others to access those ideas by posting on forums such as this you do open yourself up for copying.....I was a teacher before being a stay at home mum and often went into schools and saw ideas that I then went back and did with my class - usually with a bit of tweaking - was I in the wrong? Or did I take an idea and make it my own?
I don't know the answers ( not sure if I can even remember the questions these days!! LOL) but I agree the sparkle of creativity seems to have disappeared .........
