    Happy Easter! everyone.

Hope you all had good days at your fairs.

I have just finished 5 of my very very very pink 2 Tier cakes. They all have a pr of pram shoes and a long sleeved t-shirt. I didn't intend them all being pink but that's the way it's gone. LOl
P.S. sorry about big pic - havn't mastered the thumbnails yet!

Did the first of my 3 April fairs and it went really well :j. Julie glad I took extra supplies for sock pints as the went down a storm! Thanks for the idea for that one. The shop i supply has ordered 20 of them too so I think I'm going to get some strange looks when i go to buy the supplies for them lol!
Sold all my mini cakes, loads of sock rose buds, cupcakes. Sold out of swiss rolls, muffins and the new mum survival kits too! Only had 3 new dad ones left. Got 5 orders for future big cakes too!
    So I'm a happy Easter bunny! :D

p.s. forgot to say there was another lady doing nappy cakes and flannel cakes too but she did badly and said she wont be doing another show there again. She said 'there's only room for one nappy cake maker here so i wont bother again'!

Congratulations! You zap out the competition girl!

morning all, just to say some of the stalls looked great,
i used my muffin cases to make choc cheese cakes (to eat) well rubbish the choc stuck to the cases so ended up
using paper cases, i have seen people are using ramekin cases for socks, i wondered if anybody could tell me if you can use them for jellies and were i can get them from, its my mothers 82yr birthday in a couple of weeks and i am doing a party so thought i would make some jelly and icecream, two years ago for her 80th we had a suprise party and ladies can i tell you if we are like them when we are that age omg what fun pixxed 8 of them drank 8 bottles of wine and not sure what spirits
i have looked on ebay for the ramekins but with no luck and also wanted to try the choc souffee from the willies choc factory
well off back to the sun and keep up the good work

  • B and M bargains will not know whats hit it later today then! I wonder what time it opens...if I can find the blankets in there I'm going to by them all seeing as it's proving a nightmare to find some! lol

I woke up this morning to a card through the letter box (hand posted although not sure why before 8am on a bank holiday!) it's a christening invitation for my cousins baby boy, he'll be 8 months when he's christened. I made a nappy cake when he was born so just wondering really if anybody has any suggestions for a christening gift I can make because Ican't really give another cake...can I?!

Bella, your stall looks beautiful. Congratulations on all the sales!
