    Ah Shelley,
Your cake is lovely as ever although not seeing many lately! If you're like me I don't post many pics because I think they're all the same nowadays!

Bella well done on what sounds like an amazing day! Your stall looks great. I can't believe the other woman getting huffy! Isn't that all about free markets and competition! If you want to sell then you have to offer something different. Pleased all your hard work paid off and the stemtex wasn't wasted!

If any one can give me any tips for my craft fair next month i would really be greatful. The show is bigger than i thought, i didn't want to take lots of stock but i am thinking i will have to now. I did a couple of small ones last year and i found that having a price list put people off and stopped them from asking me questions. Do you price them up or let people ask? Pm me or email me addy on my facebook group.

Hi Kim_Possible, I use Florist ribbon on all the tiers first and then put fabric ribbon on top. I use anything that goes – Satin, organza, Chiffon – even the ribbon that comes tied round Primark Blankets.

Undercover_ Angel , Your cake looks lovely. I have got some of those bears and I think they work best with yellow, with having grey on them. Try B & M for the bobbly blankets. That’s where I got mine from!

Rusty, they are just stood on plastic storage boxes I got from Poundland. Keep my ribbons in them. I just needed something to stand them on so I could take a pic in one go instead of all separate. Boxes might be O.K. for standing things on at fairs!
Rusty – you should have guessed by now – the cat is £1 one from Asda. They go quick, so do the little teddies.

Good to see you back Shelley! That black sheep is so cute!

Wow! Bellag, business is certainly booming for you! I’m not surprised – your stuff is fab

Hi Becs yes I don't post many pics these days compared to previously as most are the same. The sheep was a last minute for my Mum (she has a habit of doing this lol) and I've only ever made one similar to it.
I have to get more stocks in though such as ribbons and toys x

  • B and M bargains will not know whats hit it later today then! I wonder what time it opens...if I can find the blankets in there I'm going to by them all seeing as it's proving a nightmare to find some! lol

I woke up this morning to a card through the letter box (hand posted although not sure why before 8am on a bank holiday!) it's a christening invitation for my cousins baby boy, he'll be 8 months when he's christened. I made a nappy cake when he was born so just wondering really if anybody has any suggestions for a christening gift I can make because Ican't really give another cake...can I?!

Bella, your stall looks beautiful. Congratulations on all the sales!
