Oooh thanks everyone - wouldn't you know it that was the one thing I haven't been able to find!!! my double-sided tape!!! Grrrrr LOL!! Anyway its secure(ish) til I can pop out tomorrow to get some but here are some photos - really would like honest opinions please as this is the first one I'm giving to anyone - my others have just been for fun!! - & its for a paying customer!!! I would've preferred to use a pink soft toy but this is the toy that my friend bought & really wanted me to use so have put colour co-ordinated ribbons around its neck and I think it looks quite nice now that its done?!! fingers crossed she'll like it!!!!

    Hiya all,

Heres my latist Nappy Cake, i have made it for a close friend so have gone all out on it. Its Packed with goodies! It has a bee theme as she has nick named her bump 'bee'. I've not wrapped it yet as my mum is knitting some yellow & black stripe booties.
I'm also going to make a 'Big Sister' cake for my friends 4year old daughter so she doesnt feel left out :-)

Before i sign myself up to a £40 craft fair i'm tempted to try a local car boot sale, has anyone else done this? was it successful?

    Thanks

Thanks Rusty, I have all those shops :D:D:D
Will try Primark tomorrow. I used to love their giraffe hooded towel, bought some lovely orange and yellow ribbons to co-ordinate it too, but last time I went in, they had changed to white/silver and beige/brown:mad:
Fingers crossed they have the lemon one (and a blue one ....).

Think I need to up my price on the bath time sets, I'm doing more of them than the normal nappy cakes ..... besides it's £3.50 for a bath towel and only £1 for a blanket  Plus my poundland don't have any more of the coloured rubber ducks !!!!

Ooooh just wondering where you're getting blankets for £1? Most of mine are £3-£4 cheapest I've found is £1.99 from Dunelm!!

    Rusty -Your cake looks lovely

    Ok ladies, honest opinions please.

The picture on the blanket was too big to fold and it would have been a shame to loose the picture so I have made a double layer.

What do you think? It still needs some tweeking but do you think it looks ok?
