JulieH, The only place I managed to get some lemon socks were Poundland. They are dead plain in pks of 3, pink, mint and lemon.
Am still having to pay full price for Ellies! Am really angry about it. I have sent ANOTHER email to Asda and all they do is acknowledge but don't give me an answer.
Where has all the cheap (£1 - £1.50ish) blankets gone? I want these for smaller cakes and can't find any!
i managed to get some from a £1 shop not the normal one's but can't remember the name. i need some socks to but are having no luck

I use double sided tape. I add a very small piece onto the front, back and both sides of the cake, so the ribbon is held securely against the nappies. At the back, I overlap the ribbon, again using double sided tape, and secure with a piece of clear packaging tape (this tape seems to have more staying power than ordinary sellotape).A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
Popkins i use double sided tape on mine too
like candy said i put a bit on the florist ribbon and overlap it
slightly and stick0 -
Hi Popkins I use double sided sticky pads on the florist tape and then a strong craft glue on the normal ribbon...0
