Becs, that box of cupcakes looks fabulous!!! :T Why don't i have wonderful friends who buy me gifts like that?!
Love the single tier too and it obviously has different contents too - how about showing them both to your friend and see which one she prefers... I bet she takes both0 -
Becs-they are both lovely well done. I love the box of cakes that is brilliant. Are they all sox or bibs as well?
I also think your friend will want both! lol

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure about the cupcakes as don't look enough like cakes for me! They are 3 pairs of socks, 1 bib,1 hat and a pair of scratch mitts. I had to go to a local bakers and buy a couple of bits of cake (great shame) to ask if I could buy a box from him! Was worth it though as he gave me the box! I think it definately adds to the presentation personally. I shall take them into work tomorrow and see which she likes.
Can anyone say what sort of price they would expect to pay for soemthing like the cupcakes? I'm really struggling with my pricing. I think you always find it hard putting a value to your own work especially when you're really doing it because you enjoy it!0 -

Thanks RoxieW,
Do you mean £10 for the box of 10 cupcakes? It has 3 pairs of socks,1 bib, 1 hat and 1 pair of scratch mitts.
I think my definition of cupcakes seems to be different from others on here but not sure what else to call them, fairycakes maybe?
Thanks

Becs,
They are both lovely! The cupcakes do look like cakes and you're right about the presentation in the cake box, really adds to the effect! (and means you get cake for yourself too-always good- lol!)
I would say maybe £10 to £12.50 for the cupcakes.
I bet you're friend will be spoilt for choice!:love:11th March 2010- Got engaged to my amazing fiance, planning our wedding for 20120 -
Becs, I love both your cakes, the cupcakes are especially cute!
Here's a cake I made earlier for my friend who has had a little boy. I just need to make arrangements to see her now

Thanks everyone, I was thinking in the £10 are myself so in the right area I think.
Betterlife they are muffin size cases. I bought a pack of mixed ones that have pale blue, pink, lemon and green.
Naomim your cake looks lovely. I'm sure your friend will be delighted. My friend is due in october and I want to do a really special one for her. I have kept it quiet from her that I'm doing nappy cakes now so it will be a complete surprise! I'm really looking forward to seeing her face when I give it to her!0
