Threelittlepigs - I think you should leave the roses there, they look lovely and not overpowering at all :D Well done you should be really proud!

Feefeedee thats not a bad price if you buy the 2 boxes. works out at 8.8p a nappy but if only buying one box then it works out at 11.7p per nappy which is quite a big difference.

O.k, has anyone elses Asda changed their baby ranges?

The gorgeous sleepsuits in pink, blue and brown have gone. The bibs range have changed. And the lovely cuddle robes with disney characters (like the pink piglet ones) have gone!!!!

On a slightly positive note I got an elephant today!!! 2 for £5!!

Threelittlepigs your cake is gorgeous! I think I would leave the sock roses on though it looks just as nice without.

Queenbee - Don't know who has offers on for Nappies at mo but keep an eye on Sainsbury's for their "third off" babystuff promotions. I got my last batch of Pampers delivered from them last time and it saved a fortune. I think they come round approx 4-6 wks.

Ilrip, I love your new cakes. Where did you get your lion and duck from? Different toys seem to be thin on the ground at the moment.
They had some lovely white lambs in M & S (in food Easter section) but on label it said not suitable under 36 months. It makes me mad, especially when soft toys are obviously for babies but the label says not! Mind you, they were £5 so a bit too much to pay.

Rusty, glad your customer liked her "Pooh" cake. It was lovely!

Yea, my Asda has changed to Spring range but Ellies are still 2 for £5.

Lrlrip your cakes are gorgeous too:T:T:T

I agree Moonpenny soft toys are difficult to get hold of at mo and my local asda hasn't had any Ellies in for ages !! :(

Not done any cake making for a while as I seem to be tied up with baby sitting my grandson.
Been painting today and trying to re-arrange the "spare room" I work in. I seem to be getting more and more stuff!!!! I keep most of it in the big plastic storage boxes from Wilcos but have just had to buy yet ANOTHER one. I also have their plastic Drawer units which are great for putting all my bits in. Just need another room now! LOL!

One of my local Asda's has loads of the beige Ellies left (£1.50 each) and only 1 turquoise one left .... was going to buy it but then noticed it was dirty.
If anyone wants any beige ones, I'd be happy to post them to you.

Looks like they have replaced the Ellie's with some teddy bears, but don't think they are half as cute.
