Hiya - have been having a bit of a play this morning

and a bathtime one - need to get extra bits for this as it only has nappies, cuddle robe & baby shampoo!

thanks FeeFeeDee - I'm sure yours was lovely - tried to search back but couldn't find it! Think I may have to start back at post 1 & look through again as there are so many lovely ones on here. Have been looking on ebay and google and some of them are just soooo expensive - just silly money really!

    Anyone help please?

What is the best way to put padders onto a cake.

Do I put them on the sides (flat) or on the top and pad them out or any other ideas.

    Thanks

Hi, I have used padders before as a topper. I pad them out with cotton wool balls or tissue paper and they are then perfect for a topper. They dont need secured on top of the cake as the cellophane keeps them in place.

    Hope this helps. x

    Thank you very much.

Popkins, gosh you have been busy today. Love the cakes and the ingredient cards.
Can I ask where you got the lovely towel and giraffe?

i was in the shopping centre today and saw a stall with nappy cakes. there was one with a potty that had johnsons talc, baby soap, johnsons shampoo, nappy bags and a pack of wipes for £13! they also had a nappy cake which had 10 nappies (supermarkets own brand) tied with a plain ribbon 1 bib, i vest , pair of scratch mits and a hat for £10.
the pics of the nappy cakes on here look a million times better than the cakes i saw today for sale.
keep up the good work ladies you all deserve a pat on the back as they are all fab!
