    Hi Nicky,

Was just typing my reply to say Rusty is the one to ask about boxes but she beat me to it! I get my boxes from my mum so can't help but do use a courier as Rusty suggests. I used parcel2go as she recommends for the first time the other day and were very impressed.
I have never had any luck on ebay with cakes, there are so many on there I can't even be bothered to look through them I think the biggest problem is they come up on a search for "nappy cake" but realistically hardly anyone has heard of nappy cakes so wouldn't be looking. It is expensive to post as well so majority of my cakes are through work, hand delivered.

    Queenbee,

My boxes of cupcakes sold well on the day as they were £10 so a nice inexpensive gift. To be honest other than that I can't really comment. Only done 2 fayres, 1 of which I sold nothing, the other I virtually sold everything I took but that was a "ladies who lunch" charity day and they all had oodles of cash burning a hole in their pocket, and all grandma age! Had one woman buy a 3 tier blue and a pink at £55 each because she didn't know whether it was going to be a boy or girl!

Well done Nicky your cakes are fab!

Yay! I am soooo excited girls....I managed to get a huge order for cakes, bouquets and some other bits for mothers day for those shops I mentioned!!!:j :j :j Nearly £500!!

We have agreed on a 4 month trial to see how they sell, but she has already asked me to think about putting some stuff together for Fathers day  ! Any ideas girls???

    B xx
Wow ..... congratulations bellag :T :T Your cakes are so beautiful, I am sure they will have no problems in selling them for you.

With regards to your 'Fathers day' gifts, are you still thinking along the lines of nappy cakes or just gifts in general ??

If nappy cakes, how about doing some of the 'Daddy Nappy Duty Belts' (have seen many ideas on the US diaper cake sites). Or could these items be included inside the usual nappy cake??

I have been asked to make a few cakes for a baby shower next week. Thought I would do a pink, blue and neutral.

I have just done this one.

Oooh that looks great - can I ask where you got the bobble blanket from - I'd really like one in white as I would like to do a '101 Dalmations' cake after I bought a bib & socks the other day so need to find red & white bits!!
