No Home Bargains or Dunelm Mills so I buy from Primark. They are usually about £3-£4 each.

Girls your cakes are fab :j:j:j:j The sock roses are so cute x
Well i've finally made up the cake for my work colleague. They provided all the bits and I put it all together - it is humungous!!!! In fact I cannot move it off the table at the mo because I haven't found a base big enough!! I tried to move it and all the toiletries inside started coming out!!
It includes:
Lamaze Giraffe
Baby blanket
Approx 45 Pampers nappies
7 bodysuits
3 sleepsuits
Large Johnson's cotton buds
Large Johnson's Bedtime Bath
Large Johnson's Body Lotion
Large Johnson's Talc
Baby Girl Photo album (i've placed this at the back)
I apologise for the quality of the photo because I cannot move it yet I was unable to use the photo tent.

Thanks Naomi yes all the bits are inside thats why its so chunky. I placed all the toiletries and clothes in the bottom layer and placed the cotton buds in the top layer. The photo album is tucked in at the back ( sorry forgot to take a pic). I always hide my bits inside so quite used to doing it now.
Diggerz - your cakes are stunning and definitely no improvement needed. How did you do your sock roses they are fantastic?Little Miss Chatterbox

riggerz, I can't believe they are your first nappy cakes! they are fab and I can't see any improvement required....I would also like to know how you have done the socks, they look really lovely..
Shelley, Your cake looks great, I am sure your colleagues (andthe lucky recipient obviously) will be delighted :T
I only hope when I make my sis's one it is somewhere near to all of yours...am a bit annoyed with myself as was in Asda TWICE over the weekend (very unusual) and forgot to look forthe Ele.....I did get a nice pack of muslin cloths to use though, pink and whites...Jun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30

Shelley I love your “huge” cake, especially the giraffe. (I love quirky things!) It would be more expense but could you use a round tray to sit it on. Or, maybe you could find a big plastic “picnic” plate. I have been thinking of using these instead of cake boards for the more colourful ones.
Riggerz, Your cakes are gorgeous, I wouldn’t change anything. The colours match perfectly.
I have been asked for a girl cake, 3-6 mths. I normally do 0-3 mths using Pampers 2 Nappies. Could you girls tell me if the size 3 would be the right size, or still size 2.?
Strange one this, she is due to have baby next wk and has got everything she needs and more! But still wants a cake – hence 3-6 mths. She would like pink but has all Winnie Pooh stuff, and wants a dress and possibly shoes included! (I thought maybe Eeyore for toy) Has anyone any ideas for toiletries etc that would make it slightly different to the newborn?0
