I've just made my first nappy cake for a friend. I have the bottom layer has 19 nappies and is wrapped in a lovely blanket.

The next layer is 7 nappies with ribbon around it.

I have 3 vests 2 pairs if socks miniture baby smellies and a little envelope with a gift card in it can anyone give me suggestions on where to put them?

And how do you roll the socks into those roses?

    thanks

Shelley I love your “huge” cake, especially the giraffe. (I love quirky things!) It would be more expense but could you use a round tray to sit it on. Or, maybe you could find a big plastic “picnic” plate. I have been thinking of using these instead of cake boards for the more colourful ones.

Riggerz, Your cakes are gorgeous, I wouldn’t change anything. The colours match perfectly.

I have been asked for a girl cake, 3-6 mths. I normally do 0-3 mths using Pampers 2 Nappies. Could you girls tell me if the size 3 would be the right size, or still size 2.?

Strange one this, she is due to have baby next wk and has got everything she needs and more! But still wants a cake – hence 3-6 mths. She would like pink but has all Winnie Pooh stuff, and wants a dress and possibly shoes included! (I thought maybe Eeyore for toy) Has anyone any ideas for toiletries etc that would make it slightly different to the newborn?

How about teething gel? and i would say size 3 nappies

Wendyphant I tend to place the larger toiletries and clothing in the bottom layer ;)

I bought this ribbon on Ebay and its wider than the one I used previously and tbh I prefer it. You can get it in blue and pink too.

Sorry Bargainbabe I can't help here as I won't send any by post I just get too nervous about it. I know Rusty and Becs have sent by post so perhaps they will be able to assist.
I've been really fortunate all my orders are generally local.
