i know you said these were yellow but they have lovely pink burp clothes on poundland just now
just incase you needed pink too , not really looked on this thread much til now and loving all your baby cakes they are lovely
Thankyou I have picked up some yellow and blue ones from poundland however they had no pinks. It's a pain really cause I wanted pinks aswell, infact pinks were more urgent lol ... Nearest poundland to me is the metro centre which is about 25 mins by car! Will have to pop up again sometime
Just an update, the elephants in my local asda are now £1.50, however at the big asda at the metro centre today they were £3 each still  not sure if any of you have also seen the bears which are the same colour? this bigger asda had bears which looked very cutethey were the same style and colour as the ellies but obviously were bears.

Anyway, when your cake business takes off you will laugh looking back at now - if that makes sense!A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0

Hi CandyB, I spoke to assistant at Asda about Ele’s being cheaper elsewhere but when she scanned it, it was still £3.
Got reply from email, but only to say they had received mine so ----. Asked if they were getting any more of the cream lions they used to do.
Would be nice if they did get something different.
Rusty, did you mean the cream bears with the grey pads or some new ones?
Shadsy, I would love to do a stall.
How do you all manage with transporting your goods? I would imagine you would have to make several journeys or hire a van!
I am just trying some new cakes with bottles in – never used them before, and when I looked at the pack it said 3 mths plus (medium flow) and not to use them in a microwave etc. Never thought to look at this. What does everyone do about this?

Moonpenny I probably do ... when I sat typing it out earlier on I thought I had seen them before on this thread but then didnt want to say anything incase I imagined it???
As for bottles ... medium flow is not an issue to most babies ... infact I only used slow flow for 3 days, premature babies will grow into them (I think most prem babies need a different kind of bottle anyway) medium flow is ideal especially if mum doesn't want to unwrap it immediately which is the reason I use bigger nappies/clothes etc ... as for the no microwaving etc they all say this on the packs ... what make of bottles do you have? ... I have used various kinds of bottles on my kids and have always microwaved them without any problems ... the main reason they put this warning on is because you can get hot spots in the milk which obviously could scald babies mouth ... don't panic as this is all stuff the health visitor tells you anyway and it is everywhere but again I think its upto personal use etc ... maybe just a warning on a tag attatched to the bottle if you are that worried about it?
Just to add I am currently using tommee tippee bottles on my daughter ... 8 oz cows milk ... 1 min on the pad and BING its readybottles are 20 months old ... used these from the start and still going strong

Hiya where and when is this as i too have a stall at a big baby fair near me. After looking back at your other posts i think it is the same one :rotfl:
I have done a few fairs and as for transporting goods the trick is not to take too much stuff i fit evertthing on the backseat of the car. You can easily get carried away and take everything but it is sometimes too much for people to look at. I would rather take one of each kind and sell them then having to bring everything back home with me to store there.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
