Hello ladies, first time posting on here (I think) but I am a long time admirer of your beautiful cakes. I've only made a couple of nappy cakes for gifts but am thinking about looking into making them to sell and advertising locally. I was thinking of making up a couple to photograph to give potential customers an idea of what they would be buying. Do you have any tips for me please? Thank you :D

Made this one in October for a Christening...

The only tip I have is don't charge too little! ... as you keep saying to me, Personally I think your cakes are beautiful and wouldn't change anything ;) .... buy your items cheap but charge full price, i.e blankets are £3 from most places, but occasionally they end up at £1.50 so still charge the £3 for them.
You don't have to use cake boards either if you just have nappies and clothes inside, I have cut out that expense although a cardboard disc always works well :)
