Only a quick visit ladies as I'm working a double back today. I'm planning on popping into Asda now on my way back into work to buy some sleepsuits.
As I was leaving work at 6am this morning a work colleague gave me a load of baby items and asked me if I would make a nappy cake from them!!!!!! I dont mind at all but you should see how much stuff he has!!! I made one for his wife recently and now she wants me to make one for her friend so she went on a spending spree and gave me all the contents. The bag contained 7 vests, 3 sleepsuits, soft toy, outfit, large talc, large baby bath. large tub of cotton buds, large shampoo and photo album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:
This one is going to be a major challenge and I really doubt whether I will be able to fit it all in!!! Luckily I've got about 6 weeks to do it.

Ok now don't call me mad but .... you can roll the clothes the same height as the nappies and if you use your toiletries in the middle then a layer of clothing round, then nappies around that then you should be able to fit most of it in ... the outfit may well be able to be folded and tucked in? if not it could be tucked in underneath your blanket?

    Good luck :)

Ta, i always find it tricky when you get to the bit when you wrap the florist tape from sock onto the wire, sometimes comes apart..but am getting better at it. does the kitchen roll make it easier?

Yes well i think it does and gives it a bit more body if you see what i mean i roll the socks 1st then cut the kitchen roll in half fold over a little the roll around the socks and then tape it all
