Thank you, thank you, thank you ladies, I just knew you'd come up trumps for me :j

rhj090384, loving those pictures on the 1st cake. Will be checking out some clipart later.
I had a quick look last night (10 mins) and didn't come up with any of these sites.

    lesley_mac - brilliant .... I didn't even think of a horse .... how thick am I
Hmmn, got a camel upstairs, wonder if I could flatten his humps .... lol

rjh090384 - quite liking the idea of tan fringe ..... could never make my own though, couldn't cut straight enough :rotfl:

Rustyflange - red and orange ribbon  you wouldn't believe the fun I had with them two the other day. Bought that giraffe and co-ordinated fleece blanket set from HB's (£4) ..... just couldn't get the ribbons to look any good (hence now packed away).
Loving that neckerchief idea, and you've just reminded me, I have forgot to go to party shop, was hoping to find a small party cowboy hat.

I do have one idea for the covering of the cake, but need to check out that party shop first and give it go ..... til then I'll leave you guessing :D

Hello everyone, I have only just started using this forum & have learned so much about making my money go further.

The crafts you are making are lovely you must have the patients of a siant to do it.

I think I may have just found myself a new hobby.....bang goes the housework !!
Welcome aboard MTPOCKET. Don't worry, the housework will still be there tomorrow (and the next day, and the next day ......).
I warn you now, this hobby is sooooooooooo addictive.
As for 'patients of a saint' ...... believe me, I'm sure many of us have our bad nappy rolling/bow tying days ........ amazing though how coming on here is such a de-stress. I just love having a look at what people have made.
Look forward to seeing a photo of your first cake.

Shelley fab fab fab!!!!!!! Loving that cake! :T :T :T

Went to Asda (thanks to Rusty;) ) and have managed to pick up the 22p cakes boards!...I stocked up :D .

Also they had the huggies on offer - so instead of buying size 2s which werent on offer, I bought the size 3s triple value box and they work out at 6.8p per nappy which is a bargain!

Oooh and even better and nothing to do with nappy cakes but good for my two little boys are the big value 4 pack of Huggies wipes are on offer at 2 for £5. Meaning 8 packs of wipes for £5!- I stocked up :D .

Like Rusty said there are loads more offers on some baby clothing and accessories but didnt have a look at those as tend to use mini mode, John Lewis and M&S stuff.

Double sided tape works well where it overlaps. What have you tried using so far?

First I used several little squares of double sided tape the stuff you use for photos and now I have used double sided tape with my fingers crossed. ;)
