Rusty, I take it you've made up with your nappies today. Well done on the swirling, they look really neat. I've not tried that yet.
I've still not seen any of your ty cows or dogs around, or Julie's duck, they are all so cute.

Someone posted recently that they were looking for pink and blue sponges for their bath cakes, I spotted some today in 'Savers', a pack of 2 for 54p.

Thanks everyone for you kind comments.
I did put my 'usual' handmade bows on them, but think I prefer to just see the gingham ribbon on show, besides, I'll have a bow on them when wrapped.

Yes, they are the Asda elephants, I love them, they are so cute ..... BUT ..... sorry to disapoint you all, the duck is only being used for the purpose of a photo for my leaflets.
My sister bought the duck when my daughter was born 4½ years ago, and my daughter is not happy at all, is convinced I am going to give it away.
He is cute though isn't he.

How much are the elephants?? They look adorable ... I have a full spreadsheet on how much things will cost at full price so that I can charge knowing how much priofit I make etc then anything that I get cheaper is a bonus! I have £3 down for my teddies but I know I normally only pay £1.50-£1.80 a teddy, but it is mainly on the offchance I cannot get them so cheap and have to go to asda or somewhere and buy theirs.
I think this time of year we may well be able to find ducks so maybe we should all keep our eyes open and if we spot any put them on here??

I love your little frames aswell :)

I did make up with them, I pulled it all apart and started again, then made up one in comparison which had 59 nappies in ... er no :rotfl: think I will use the 31 nappies in the swirling :) the cake I pictured isn't anywhere near finished yet as I need to add ribbons and finishing touches, I was thinking no to feathers but I used 2 on a couple of cakes before and it made it look so cute so now I aint sure. Really I need to go to primark with a list of things I need to buy ... I am completely out of blankets other than one blue one ... can blame my daughter for that as she stole one of my pink ones!!! she keeps trying to steal my teddies aswell bless her

Rusty the Asda elephants are 2 for £5 or £3 each. I've started using them and they are lovely. I made one up this week for a girl from my son's nursery using the blue elephant but I found the blue was a different shade to the ribbons I use and didn't look right so I had to use plain turquoise satin that I had. I took a photo but it is a poor one so I do apologise. I promise it did look better in real life.

They've got them in the Bridgend store but have only just reappeared and not that many on the shelf. I tend to buy a couple every time I visit.
