Snap Moonpenny the blue elephant is very difficult to match up with ribbons so I may use the beige from now on.Little Miss Chatterbox

The difference in the blues between the elephant and my florist ribbon is not really that noticeable, seems more noticeable on my leaflet somehow, than when you are actually looking at the cake.
The colour of my blue ribbon is 'Ice Blue' .... maybe this is a shade paler than your blue
I've been to our local asda tonight, they had the elephants in a large basket and all it said on the basket was £3 ........ no mention of the 2 for £5 ........... I hope they haven't stopped the offer.
If I remember right, the offer was pre-printed on the box. Hmmm, I'll have to query it next time I go in.A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -

Candyb, Your cakes look really lovely. I bet they look great on your leaflets.
Yesterday I printed a price on my leaflets, and now am thinking that I'm charging too much.A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
Do you think £4.75 is to much for them there is a vest pair of socks and a weaning spoon in them
Julie depends where you are selling them ... dependant on where you get the items then it is probably costing about £2 to make ... then if you sell on ebay you need to add listing fees/final value fees/paypal fees ... I think you could probably sell for a little more?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Cakes are looking fab everyone!
Rusty I love your bear. Where did you get him from?
Like you, I am trying to sort out my cakes. Number of nappies used, size etc. It’s a right headache at the moment as I can’t get right what to put in the different tiers, to make them not all the same, if you know what I mean. Do you really add up the full price of all your items to cost?
I’ve been just adding up what I have paid for them even if I have trailed miles to get a bargain!

I tried using the “square” boards I got from Asda but couldn’t make them work so I decided to change them for round. Went to a different store and they were 55p so didn’t bother. On same note I bought 2 pink and 2 blue Elephants and on shelf label it said “White Elephants” £2.20 each or 2 for £5. When I asked at checkout I got them for £2.20 each. Thought I was losing the plot but I think Asda is! Lol
Wonder if different areas charge different!
Shelley – cake is fab! I’m not keen on the “blue” elephants (more aqua than blue) but he looks lovely. I’ve only used the cream ones up to now.
Hi Moonpenny the bear came through the post ... I applied for the kiddies to join some kind of kids club and the bear was a free gift ... never heard anything since I registered months ago then yesterday morning a bear popped through the letter box!

Hi Candy there was a big difference in the baby blue ribbon I had and the shades on the elephant. When I changed to turquoise it was much better.
I might pop into Asda later and I'll have another look to see if they are still on offer?Little Miss Chatterbox
