I think it looks like it's absolutely chockers with gifts! :D I'd love to receive a gift like that. :j

Ps....there's no such thing as 'too much pink' :D

    Hiya emactatty,

Do you mean the cake is big or the photo? lol:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think it looks fab! I have just made my first and like you ended up with more colourful than intended. Also have only just got to grips with posting pictures and my picture was too big as well.

I think it looks lovely all pink - but if you're anything like me, you'll be messing with it every time you walk past. :T
  • Can I please ask how you stop the teddy falling off the top? Or the small items from moving around?
    Thanks
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
  • My word Shelley you have been busy!! They are going to be very eyecatching on your tablecloth, hope the sun comes out.

May I ask where you got the pink rabbit from? I am looking for a pink rabbit for a gift hamper and that one is perfect :j
  • emactatty vbmenu_register("postmenu_13521129", true); I like the bright colours, and as someone else said you can never have too much pink! It really looks lovely:T
I like your teddy holding the cute hat with tassles, did it come as a set.
Good idea to put it on a giftbox

I had the same problem with my pics, I tried resizing and some work and others don't - not very good with stuff like that :o .

Shelley you will get a better quality of picture with a Digital SLR but they are way more expensive than the normal digital cameras. Where did you buy your photo tent from? Do you have a link for them? OH and I are thinking of making one as they are not that expensive to make and we have a huge halogen light to put behind which helps aswell

I bought my photo tent from Ebay there are loads on there and they are collapsible. I think I paid about £14 including p&p. I bought 80cm x 80cm which is huge but means you can place more items in.
When we went to Comet the sales guy recommended a digital SLR but the cheapest was over £200. OH went secretly and bought me the Casio exilim 10.1 megapixel so I will give that a go. Its not in stock so i've had to wait until today for it.
I still have not sussed proper lighting for the photo tent but they are still better than before I had one. I tried lighting at back but that didn't work very well so at mo I hold light towards cake and shoot. I am no David Bailey x I might try the black background later to see if that works better once i've worked out my new camera.

I'm lucky as OH has a digital slr although his was nearly £1k  but he bought me a normal nikon digital which I think was £250 ish when our youngest was born. Personally I wouldn't use the black as that will not help with the light and also will be too dark on the nappy cakes.
