Julie your baby ice creams are brilliant. Do you wrap them in cello?
I think there must have been a baby boom as the orders are coming in fast at mo!!!!! Thankfully I've got some girl orders as there has been lots of boys recently.
I used the Asda elephant for the first time tonight and i really like it, they sit lovely on the cake and they are cheap:D Never bought them before but I think I will buy whats left on the shelf as they hard to get in our local Asda.Little Miss Chatterbox

Wow Julie your icecreams are lovely! what a fab idea.
Congrats Bravobeastie on your sales 3 in one day is brilliant!
Shelley your cake is lovely, the ribbon you used looks really affective.
I've had 6 orders now since start of the year so really thrilled and like you said Shelley I think there is definately a baby boom happening! Infact when i was doing the fairs a lot of people said they knew people expecting in January/Feb so maybe there is something in that?
I've had an order from a friend aswell for a brightly coloured girly one and she has given me full reign on it so I'll post a pic on here on the weekend. thinking of using darker pinks, lemons and baby blues and lilacs on it and doing a bouquet of flowers on the top ....we'll see lol
My husband used to work at a big pharmaceutical company that has many thousands of employees. Three of the orders are from there through some of my leaflets that were left about the place by one of his ex work collegues. i'm hoping as more and more people see my cakes there then i will get many more maternity leave orders in the future.
Getting a bit more into my nappycakes now that I have sold some lol!

How on earth do you get your nappies on the top tier to look so neat.
Then again, I am still using some nappies left that I got in Spain. Dismantled all the ones that I had left over from doing the fayres, and OH did squash them all into the roof box !!!! so maybe that explains that one.
I hope none of my recent customers are reading this !!!!A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
Does make you wonder what was on telly nine months ago doesn't it?
Great news about the orders though lets hope it keeps up for the rest of the year.
I sell lots through work and word of mouth and it is definitely the best way for me. You'll probably find Bellag you will have regular sales from your hubbys workplace once people have seen them.
Thanks Candy i'm really pleased with the elephant I didnt really like them before I tried them tonight but I find all the Asda toys look lovely. I don't know how the nappies look neat I just roll them and hold the layer together with elastic band making sure the nappies are tightly compacted together (does that make sense??).
P.s Bellag I always tend to use the same ribbons because I buy it by the roll so its more cost effective xLittle Miss Chatterbox
