Thanks Rusty, it folded nicely but I haven't tried any other blankets.
As you can see I took your advice with the bigger sizes! May have gone a bit overboard but to be honest I couldn't get the next sizes down in Asda the day I went - at least this way they can leave it for a while

Which size did you go for in the end? My asda is sometimes like that but to be honest babies tend to use vests til almost 2 and sleepsuits etc til a similar age so it really doesn't matter. My little one is wandering round the house now in her sleepsuit and she is 14 months old. mind you the sleepsuit she has on is only 6-9 months :rotfl:but it still fits plenty :)

I just wish my friends would do me a nappy cake for my next baby lol I wouldn't want to take it apart though ... I still have 3 sitting here waiting to be posted but I may be heading back south this weekend so can drop 2 in in person the third well that isn't so easy as its my OH's ex wifes ... never met her and don't really want to lol

  • Just found this thread today and it's the answer to a prayer!
My son's girlfriend is due to present us with our first grandchild next month and I was at my wits end trying to find something 'different' to give her.
I'm going to have fun shopping for the 'surprise' bits etc. for the next few weeks or so.
I'm glad I read about the Primark blankets, I have looked at them a few times but worried about the quality because of the price!

Rustyflange - love your company name:T

Quick question. How do you make the cupcakes? ie what do you put in them and do you only use one nappy?

    good luck at the festival

Thanks aureol I need all the luck I can get - I am soooo nervous!!!
To make the cupcakes I used 12 nappies which meant they are quite a nice size and don't look too small. I wracked my brains for something to cover the nappies and came up with a burping cloth. A blanket would be too big obviously. I think the cupcakes are ideal for those with a smaller budget !!!
