Good old Mam drops another order on me tonight. She wants one for my Stepdad's niece (baby boy born 3 days ago!!!). Fortunately she had already bought some bits for the cake including a lovely little Steiff bear so I managed to make up it up. Unfortunately I didnt realise until tonight but I've run out of beige Hello Baby ribbon so major panic as I've got a few neutral orders to do this week and I'm away in Greta Green for a wedding next week so got to make sure all the cake orders are done before I go. Fortunately I managed to get a reel from Ebay so just pray it arrives on time

Fantastic cakes as always Shelley
Still not heard anything from this company as they were supposed to call me back on Friday and didn't bother! I think I will give up with it and put it down to experience as it has been 3 weeks now.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Thats a shame because it looked like you had a bargain there. I bought a reel of hello baby ribbon from Ebay 20 metres for £8.99 which included delivery. I thought that was pretty good.Little Miss Chatterbox

Hi everyone.
Just got to say, well done to everyone here, these cakes are amazing. I'm attempting them myself now, have gone a bit over board in terms of costs (went to hobbycraft and got carried away!).
My sister in law is expexting twins and has waited over 7 years so i think it's worth the cost, also, seen how much they are on some websites - nearly 80 quid some of them!!!
ANyhow, I want to get two bottles of champagne - 25cl/250ml bottles. I can only find the 35cl ones in morrisons. Does anyone know where i can get the small bottles from? Doesn't have to be expensive stuff.0 -
Hi
Home Bargains do small bottles of champers for about 85p a bottle

Well, my mum took my first cake in to her work for my sis to pick up from there (was for her friend) and a customer saw it, thought it was a great idea and said she would like 3 of them. So my mum has given her my number. :j
Also making 2 blue ones for friends who are expecting and another for my sis again.
That'll keep me busy - lucky I have plenty supplies in, and my mum brought me back LOADS of reels of baby ribbon from America - worked out at 10p a roll
So THANK YOU to everyone on this thread who have posted ideas and tips. :TCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Is Home Bargains a website or a shop?0 -

Home bargains came out as TJ Morris on internet search and unfortunatley there's not one in my area.
Any other retailers that anyone can think of for 25cl/250ml bottles of champagne?0
