    Hi there,

I agree with the others about the ribbon, If I use the wide florists ribbon as you have I use a neutral chiffon ribbon on top to break it up a bit but it looks fab, well done!

I've got another order through work for another 3 tier. Also interested in some Christmas ones as well when I get something done.

Also said Ok to the posh gift fair in december so now panicking about what to buy and pricing as this is a whole different ball game to what I've been doing!

Would love to use the swaddledesigns blankets and buying them wholesale is an acceptable price but can't justify the mimum order value! £300! Fairly sure I would sell the cakes with them on or at worst be able to get at least the money back by selling the blankets seperately as 50% cost wholesale. Knowing my luck though I would end up with the whole lot!

Shelley a bit of an update on the order I placed. Still nothing arrived so I called them yesterday and they are waiting for the ribbon to be delivered their end then they will send it out to me. I asked about the price of postage (I still think it is a bit dodgy) and the price goes off the weight of the item which shouldn't be too much. Shoud be posted out to me on Friday once the ribbon has arrived :)

Hi Rusty- which courier do you use? i'm looking at either parceltogo (dhl 48) or interparcel but they are more expensive. Heard some horror stories about parcel to go losing packages, breaking stuff etc.

Hi Bellag, I use parcel2go and I use the 2-4 day service which works out around £7.19 including vat. I have sent approx 100 ish with them so far and touch wood every single one has arrived safely :) You get a tracking number and you can check on the net. Normally they arrive in 2 days, I have only ever had 1 which took 3 days but I'll not complain as they say 2-4 days!

I have sold around 100-150 cakes now, mostly through various places, some on ebay but most off ebay. I have been doing it about 3-4 months?

Hi Kelly they need to be boxed otherwise couriers won't accept them. Plus if they are boxed they stand less chance of getting damaged.
