Thanks, I also did not realise Windows 10 32bit memory requirement is 1GB, in theory 2GB is a plenty. Jivesinger also said Windows 10 tablet with 1GB works well.

Tables uses Flash memory based storage, and I have found that lash Memory swapfile is much faster than that of hard disk one. Windows manages swapwile (Virtual memory) quite well.

I have just tested my dirty Windows 7 64bit upgraded to Windows 10, the memory usages increased 1.35GB to 2GB massively.. But Windows 10 32bit clean installation + 2GB seems work well reasonably. My concern is that Windows future update. Microsoft intends to add more features to Windows 10 naturally. That would be quite demanding to older devices. This happened before Windows xp SP1/2/3.

Yeah....there's no chance of me spending £50 for an SSD for what is effectively a spare PC. (bought in Nov 2005 BTW)

When the power supply broke the cheapest Shuttle power supply was over £20, so I bought a second hand ATX supply for £3.50 on Ebay, and it sits outside the case.
