Today won't be a nsd either - I have a hair appointment this morning, which I book weeks in advance. But I am going to make sure I sneak myself a long walk at minimum. My legs are still aching like mad and I'm still struggling with sunburn (so relieved for a rainy day).
Have a good day all :coffee:

Hope your cat is ok thrifty I'd wait and see about the claim as there's often follow up appointments and medication in my experience!

Of course, sorry I thought I have to claim for every visit. I think we'll have to be back at the start of next week to see how we proceed and what further treatment we need/want. I'll wait till after that then. Thanks

Yesterday wasn't an SFD after all. Got some stuff for a BBQ this weekend, OH couldn't decide whether to have it tonight or tomorrow with friends. Probably Sat now, so another trio to the shop needed tonight. Plus I forgot half the stuff on the list yesterday as DD had a major tantrum in the shop and need to be taken out. She's hard work just now.

    Run today and healthy lunch.

Yesterday was a NSD for me. My OH car is not driveable at the moment so he is using mine. Not only has this saved petrol, but also meant the temptation to pop out for a top up shop has been dramatically less appealing as I would have to get the bus there and back with grumpy children...

I am going to get my weekly food shopping out of the way tonight, so today will be spendy. OH car is getting partly sorted tomorrow but this is already paid for, so hoping for a couple of NSD's this weekend. Yesterday did lots of walking and gardening so also staying on track with that. Managed to get all of the washing done and on the line yesterday so no use of the tumble drier :j Am going to do a meter reading later to see what effect this and using the economy setting on the washing machine has had on the electric usage. The laundry process (wash, dry and iron) must be the biggest electric consumption in this house so am hoping by reducing these three that I can get the direct debit down further.

Hoping to do some gardening later today so fingers crossed for some good weather.

    Hi Applemuncher

Can I join part of the challenge this month please? We only moved house last week ( our retirement/ forever / mortgage free flat ) now the kids are grown and moved out. But it does need a bit of work so NSDs won't work at the mo.
But I'd like to do the food spend and exercise bit this month and then do the full challenge next month.
    Well done to everyone joining.
    Have a good month everyone

Sorry haven't popped in yet this month except to sign up.

I need to set my targets yet.

1 SFD yesterday. Aiming for 16 SFD. Needed milk today and off out for a meal tonight. Think it is my turn to pay oh dear.

Have a lovely weekend folks catch up at some point. GS got chicken pox so may not do all we had planned.

Today has been my 2nd NSD and 2nd healthy day :j I always start the month well and then sometimes struggle more towards the end. I worked from home today so got a pile of washing done and put some tagine in the slow cooker. Got 3 veggie portions for me and 3 meaty portions for OH. Cheap and cheerful.

I'm about to start my workout too (was meant to do it this morning but procrastinated :p) and plan to exercise for an hour or so. I used to go to the gym when I was first trying to lose a little weight, then when we moved, I bought some weights and things so that I didn't need to pay for a gym membership any more. I'm glad to say it all gets regular use and doesn't just sit gathering dust! :rotfl: The only downside is the 4kg kettlebells aren't enough now so I recently had to buy some 6kg ones!

Nothing much else to report. Tomorrow won't be a NSD as I need to buy some household bits and pet stuff, but nothing major.

Today will be a NSD so claiming it now. So, 1/12.

I've had a fairly busy day - started putting the BBQ together - thought I was missing a piece. Took the BBQ back to B and Q - they went to get me the missing part only to realise it wasn't missing but tucked away in the hood! To say I felt stupid is an understatement!

I've prepped dinner for tonight and cleaned the kitchen, living room and hallway. I'm hoping the weekend will also be spend free, if I can bag three before work on Monday that'll be a success.

Did an hours walking today, but then a H U G E pizza and had a Gin and Tonic :D

Not a single NSD this month, and tomorrow won't be either as I am going food shopping, but I am also going to a swishing party so I am doing some good things.
