Awww Crap. Great start. I'n my budgeting I'd forgotten a DD for £4K due out today for my ISA. Planned when I had a job.
Oh well. Available savings nearly wiped out, but I think I'll count that as my savings contributions for the next few months.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Most direct debits gone out this morning. Money also transferred into various savings pots so whatever is left in my bills account is just for bills etc. Today will be a NSD and also aiming for a healthy day. OH's mum randomly gave us loads of food from the 'dark store' (sounds ominous) at w@itr0se - works out well as it means I have to buy less next week, but also some of the fresh stuff went out of date yesterday. Technically it should be fine, and I hate waste so it WILL get eaten regardless lol.
Workout planned after work - between 20-30 minutes today plus a 30 minute walk at lunchtime.0 -
Morning all :coffee:
I'm half raring to go... June is a busy month with my exam marking so I need to be more planned than ever as I tend to get a bit grab-and-go with my food when I'm busy. Let's see...
I won't be starting a with a nsd unfortunately, but that's because I'm off work at the moment and I'm meeting up with a friend for lunch - I will minimise my spends elsewhere though and will aim for 15 nsds over the month. Direct debits are done and gone today and I'm planning to make healthy eating and exercise more of a thing for me. 10000 steps a day plus digging out my kettlebell and making more use of that...Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Good morning,
today will be SFD number one. Swim planned and a healthy lunch.
Had the cat at the vets yesterday because of a lump in her face. Not sure if it is an abscess or a tumour yet. Will see if the antibiotics work. Might do a biopsy on Monday but probably not more. She's 19 and I don't believe in putting pets through major surgery anyway. But the premiums went up on her insurance (forgot to change address 6 years ago) as we now live in a worse postcode (quiet cul-de-sac vs near centre before ??). Deciding if I put a claim in for yesterday though, it was £62 and the excess is £50 and the claim process seems a lot of hassle fro 12 quid.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Today will be my first spend free day of the month. I went to therapy this morning and left my purse at home. I had an enjoyable walk and am home now.No Spend November 2/15 and SPC 1340

Not a NSD today. Completely overslept and didn't have breakfast before work or make any lunch. £3 meal deal at M0rrisons got me a smoothie, sausage barm and seed muffin though which kept me going all day. No other spending today.
Final car payment is being made tomorrow. We have had to use the ccs for it though but it has worked out a lot cheaper than refinancing.
£2000 borrowed at 0% for 26 months and £1600 at 7.9% but the extra money we'll have spare from the dd being finished means that one will be paid in 4 months tops - we're going to aim for 3 thoughneed to update my cc amounts in the signature. It's going to look scary but from now on they'll be going down, down, down.
Tomorrow will be a food shop and meal planning day. Will do a cupboard and fridge/freezer stock check tonight.
Thriftylass a couple of times in the past with our dog we've not bothered as it seemed a faff for small amounts but I bet they make a lot of money that way and they'll add up to a months premium eventually. From now on I'll be claiming though touch wood we won't be needing to. Hope your cats ok.
I need to do a more detailed list of aims for this month as I like specific goals to achieve.1 debt vs 100 days -

Failed with my walking exercise today as we couldn't get out of the house because the builders were putting up scaffolding and it completely blocked the door for most of the day. Now have no clothes line so will probably have to dry washing indoors. It's like living on a building site and the local children think it's great fun to climb up and run along the platforms. Don't know what their parents are thinking about allowing them to do it.
On the plus side wasn't able to spend any money so NSD no 1.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Evening all
NSD number 1 todaywas tempted to buy crisps but didn't want to spend or eat unhealthy food so resisted!
Not much else to report, was going to to the gym but I still really ache from Tuesday night so will go tomorrow instead
Night in catching up on tv planned
Tomorrow I am out for a cheap lunch which should be only spend!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Today has been a spend day - and quite a big one at that but this was planned for.
Large shop today - topped up on fruit, veg, salad. We get through a lot of fruit and salad at the moment because of the weather. Also got some sausages and bits. Should have enough for a while now and the next shop won't be so expensive (I had successfully run the fridge down to nothingness!)
I had a lovely dinner tonight too - chicken, prawn and chorizo paella. There's enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow too.
The biggest spend today was at B and Q. We had some vouchers (£45) and I wanted to put them towards a BBQ. I got a great looking BBQ for £112 (reduced from £120 I think) - was tempted to get a cheaper one but I am aware you get what you pay for - it's a false economy to buy cheap and I want this to last years.I also got a gas canister and had to sign up to the calor gas agreement too. I also got a weather cover for it and some BBQ cooking equipment too - both were reduced to clear! So, £148 spend in B and Q but it will last many years.
I imagine tomorrow will be a NSD as I try and put it together!!!February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00
NST no. NSD 4/150
