    Morning All :)

Lovely and sunny, kiddies are filling paddling pool up as I type :D I have washed it out and blown it up so they can be in charge of the actual water!

Friend and her two kiddies coming round for the day, the forecast is lovely so we will be outside all day. She is bringing some jigsaws with her, DS is obsessed with them and we dont have many.

Then out for dinner with best pal tonight, kiddies at Grandmas for a sleepover. So all in all a nice day, just the tonic.

    Have fab days all xx

There's a sparrow on the garden. The kitten is quivering...

Just had breakfast (overninght oats nom) and am about to fly in the kitchen.

    ETA

started with a MAD - have washed my make up brushes, they are drying in the sunshine as is the frock I have handwashed, also in my MAD half hour. And cat litter tray emptied and washed out.

Now onto the kitchen and dining room. My dining room is my ROD.

Safe Journey, Cracker. Sleep safely under the protection of Bastet.

Kitchen is clean and tidy; as it's the last day of the month, it's time to change the filter in the Br!ta jug, so that's been done; coffee machine will get a cleaning cycle, too, shortly (another monthly task).

MAD today is a sitting-down Frog, as I'm exhausted after our cinema trip yesterday (yes, sitting on one's bum watching a film can be exhausting!) - I'm now to the point where I can progress no further though, as I need to use the printer, and Mr LW is at the pc desk at present (beating the carp out of Corypheus in Dragon Age 2). He's earned a time-out though, so I'm not going to make him move.:A

The film was ok - load of hokum, but entertaining. :o And thankfully the auditorium wasn't crowded, and there were no children making a nuisance of themselves, and no noisy eaters (I hate that at the cinema - why on earth can't people watch a film without noisily stuffing their faces?)

Mr LW has now decided he wants to see Thor Ragnarok when it comes out.

Ah Lamewolf - you reminded me of DS discovering Bastet was an Egyptian god...and mishearing the pronunciation. :rotfl:

    I hate cleaning the DR...but I am half-way round

Aw atb I remember those days in the garden with the paddling pool, happy memories.

Both girlfriends stayed last night and for some reason all the teenagers appeared looking for coffee this morning just as DH and I were making packed lunches and getting breakfast, chaos, but in a lovely way.

So paid stuff no. 1, sneaky bike ride, paid stuff no. 2, tea, dog to vets for check on his eye. Now back to the paid stuff, washing to sort, kitchen is a bombsite. I think the only people sleeping here tonight are the people who actually live here for the first time in a week!

Ah well best get on with it.

Phew! Went a bit mad with the mad half hour and did three. I know that's not the idea... Still not finished but another half hour another day should do it. I have a pile of discarded papers to sort for confidential bits. Will recycle the rest.

I've also properly organised my homework with legible notes :o and done loads of planting! 50 marigolds, a dozen lettuce seedlings, half a dozen peas and 3 ornamental grasses. And a partridge in a pear tree lol.

Laundry is brought in, ready to make beds but that's all the indoor flying I'll achieve today. Still, it's been a glorious day and my garden looks very nice!

Kiddies are away for the night so a glass of fizz and a soak in the bath for me, in a while.

Lol, the piggies are out on the lawn today, I had a peek in the hay-hut and our girl piggy was completely sprawled, flat as a pancake with her back feet poking out. She looked at me as if to say "my head wants to run away from you but my body cba" :rotfl:

Feeling a bit guilty. Did absolutely no flying today. I'll get over it:D

Great relief - DH passed his final exams so we don't have double unemployment looming and I can take a bit of breathing space.:j

Tomorrow I start on the CV.

Loving the sprawling piggy bossy I know that feeling.

Pigpen I hope the interview went well.

LW glad the cinema was ok. We went to see it on Monday to cheer us both up. It worked. Totally silly.
