Lovely to see you back, Bossy, you've been missed.

Busy this morning, have made lunch and have finally managed to come up with a pasta sauce (to replace mayonnaise) to make pasta salads with. It involves quark. Might benefit from a tweak, but what I've come up with so far is tasty; it'll do!

    Going to strip beds now.

Please you've taken to the MAD half hour - you weren't expected to start until tomorrow :rotfl:

    Ok

    Lawns cut

Neighbour chatted to, they want to change some of the fence panels that are slightly broken, it seems they have some good ones, so it is a straight swop over, and it is not going to cost me anything ££, so told them to get on with it, :) and did they want me to help...................no came the answer

Washing is out on line it is trying to rain, but not managing it.

Been and bought 3 pairs of work trousers, and 3 work type tops, plus 2 cushions, mentally I added it up to about £85, but with it being bank hol there was 10% off, and got charged £60 , someone's maths is not very good, or they have mis programmed the tills!

    Had some thing to eat.

What a difference a quiet bank holiday makes! Bathroom s&s done. Put the 5 minute timer on my phone in every room - now you know the state of the house in that I had to do every room! Anyway, I cleared bits away, made a mental list of things that need adding to the toots list, and pulled out a few jobs to clear today. Nothing major, but baby steps. Doing the washing juggle as it rains, then brightens, then rains again. Bread proving, and cake tin out on the side to make a cherry cake later to use up some glace cherries which fell out of the cupboard on me. In their pot, I mean!
I'm still working on what I will choose for my MAD project - garden if it's nice weather would be good, but maybe it ought to be paperwork, or the utility room cupboards and surfaces. Decisions, decisions.

I'm stopping for the day now as DH has arrived home from work. Just bowls to go to this evening.

Kitchen cupboards have space in them and are almost sorted. Bathroom is now also S&S'd. Paid stuff tomorrow, but I'll see what I can do in the morning. Probably the bedroom as although the bedding is clean, the rest of the room isn't.

    Have a great evening everyone.

    Washing all up to date.
Packing lists done and suitcases done as far as we can reasonably do at this point.
Meal plan created to use up perishables that won't keep.
    Two Frogs eaten.

Well we have had a blooming marvellous time.

After our week of ABs.. Squeak is saying her tummy still hurts.. and her throat too. Dot has broken her elbow and is in a full arm cast to the shoulder.. and tonight my ancient old man cat trotted over rainbow bridge to fight with his brother.

As a result I have done nothing.. nothing at all..

Well done, Valli that's awesome! xx

It seems I'm ahead, I did my bedroom yesterday :D but I can definitely work on the extras list! Set my alarm as I have an early grocery delivery, so will wipe out the fridge first.

I started my paperwork, it's all in plastic wallets now but there are some bits that need editing before I can file them all away. I'll MAD that tomorrow.

Also tidied away craft stuff, cleaned downstairs loo and sorted kitchen after dinner. Fed piggies with some home-grown treats that they went wild over. Boy pig actually jumped in the air lol. No mean feat for that chunk!

We might go buy some bedding plants tomorrow... And I need to post a birthday card.

Right, I'll say good night then! X
