  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATH  AND GREAT NEWS RACHAEL :j

Busy day at work today and foot is still painful. Had a call from the surgery to say the wound is still infected and I need to collect some stronger antibiotics. Getting fed up now as it has been 2 weeks since I cut it open, and if casualty had stiched it rather than glued an open wound I would not be having the problems I am having.

1 load done in the WM, ironing mountain sorted, and veg prepped for slow cooker for tomorrow.

Hugs to those who need them.

Hi all. Just popped in to thank everyone for their (((hugs))). They have really helped me and I am starting to feel better.

The Shuffs - I'm so pleased about your news; puts my cold into perspective.

KYLE - have the most fantastic holiday ever. I bet you can't believe it's here!

PINK - Happy and swift recovery to DS.

Big (((Hugs))) to everyone in need; it seems there are lots of us at the moment.

I'll really try and catch up with all the news tomorrow but, right now, I'm off for a Lemsip and an early night! Once again, thanks for all your thoughts.

Well brilliant news Rachael I join everyone in :j :j :j :j for joy. My best friend is off to the hospital on Thursday so hope for similar copious amounts of fatty tissue for her too.

Had lovely walk and lunch with the family by a river. Caught up with so much chatter and news.

Sausage casserole from the freezer challenge for tea. Taken out a pkt of 100% beefburgers to mash up into Jamie Olivers meatballs for tomorrow. Never tried to mash up beefburgers but dont see why it wont work:confused::confused::confused: --- hope so anyway

Well have finallt got round to giving ING the big HeaveHo-- I moved my little pile of pennies to the Sainsburys Bank tonight I have been meaning to do it for ages as I think INGs attitude is dreadful.

    Evening folks.

It's been a lovely day here today, apart from all the police milling around due to the conference in town.

I have been very old style, cooked a minced beef stew with dumplings in my slow cooker, with enough left for 2 or 3 more servings. :j

Got some kidney beans soaking for tomorrows delight and I think I'll do some veg soup also.

Hugs to those who are not 100% through either illness or other worries and Happy Birthday to Math.

Now, I'm just going to check my doorbell is working in the hope that Panda will bring me half of that banana loaf....the last one looked scrummy. :rotfl:

I'll let you off this time, as long as you are perfecting the recipe before you pass some on to me. ;)
I'd offer to share some of the flapjack I made, but that seems to have vanished
