Hugs to those who need/would like one today
Chilly here today but bright all the same, lots of stuff to do with taking stuff over to new house etc today, definately going to keep me busy for the next few weeks.
I didn't do a meal plan this week as I thought I'll just use stuff up as I find it but now regretting it, completely lost off and feel unorganised so that will be my first job of the day. Oh after a coffee.
Hope you all have a lovely dayOne day I might be more organised...........

Pork steaks for tea tonight, not sure what to do with them, might do my favorite, bbq sauce and risotto, will wait and see.
DD had astounding amounts of homework last night, Algebra  , took me DD and OH over an hour to work it out, still got four:eek: lots to get through tonight, its too much for a 12yr old really.
For anyone that has got teengae children that use a computer, you should try that loco parentis thing that Sara Payne bought out, it logs everything your child is doing and sends you e-mails, very worth while.

Well a busy daer here in Chalkyland. WE are meeting my DB and 2 sil's for a walk to a pub for lunch. Want to catch up with them before we start our travels. It was to be a 9 mile walk over the moors but weather terrible so now about a 9 minute walk to the pub--- I am sooooo disappointed!!!
Decorating DD2's room so must get off here and pick off 3000000000 pieces of blutac before Mr Chalky( with his sore leg ) can get started.
Still raiding freezer for meals- what an assortment comes out of those unmarked containers from the BOGOF bargains you are not sure if you like anymore.
Hope donny-gal's trip is still going well
Congratulations to all those celebrating and gentle thoughts to all those feeling sad or aloneTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
Morning all
It is now official...I AM TURNING INTO MY MOTHER  .... went for a walk yesterday....thought id burn off some cals and go to the near by garden centre to see what veg seeds they have ready for next year...
just got out of the place - heading for home, when i felt and heard a really loud pop in my calf and felt like someone was holiding a hot poker on my calf... everytime i put my foot down it shot right up the back of my thigh.. anyway made it home eventually (had no choice but to hobble..hubby at work)....
just got back from the doctors ..a nice german man on camp.. and i have torn my calf muscle....exactly what mum did the other week... only the other leg... so have been sent home with some blood thining injections to stop a DVT.....To give myself:eek: ...or hubby can do it  ..im not scared of needles.but giving them myself should be fun....
So for the next week to 10 days i have to take it easy  ..knew all that cooking in the freezer would come in :T ...
I knew i was linked to my mum..her hoover died...mine went 2 weeks later.... then she broke her tooth...yep and mine went too... but this is getting silly.. Think i have to tell her not to tell me next time something happens :rotfl: I know her washer is playing up at the moment..i swear if mine goes i am going to scream:rolleyes:
sorry i haven't read all the posts yet....will catch up in a moment...
Hope you are all ok and having a good day....hugs to those in need:D
Will now try and catch up with the days events on here:T-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Morning all.
Just to let you know that Master Pink went down to theatre about 45mins ago. He was very brave and so was Pink. I will keep you all posted with any news but she thanks you for all your kind wishes. he was taken in last night so she couldn't get on to post but your good wishes are much appreciated. :kisses3:
Sorry to hear you're under the weather Churchmouse and Ticklemouse. Is it just a mouse thing or could we all get it.
Pen Pen. Don't worry, I'm still here. :hello: Don't think I'm going to be intimidated off the daily by a sudden influx of penguins.
Aussie....are you polishing your binoculars now the neighbours are home?
Pooky....I know what you mean about not agreeing. I've found a fab banana cake recipe which adds raisins and apricots. Oh likes it with both. Dtwin1 without the arpricots and Dtwin2 without the raisins. So I'm making 3 different ones a week and being forced to sample all three.
Nelski...Enjoy loch Fyne. I live near the original one on Loch Fyne itself and it's fab.
Happy Birthady Missing Math. _party_ _party_ _party_
Well I have been busy catching up after my visitors at the weekend and did a full day in the office yeaterday. Had visitors again last night and Dtwin2 is off school with tonsilitis. So I'm too busy to bless myself but will try and catch up on drying, ironing and a bit of cooking today. little one is curled up on sofa though and wants her mum.
Have a good day all and I'll pop back later when I've spoken to Pink again.

Good morning everyone,
So glad to hear that Mister Pink is ok!! (hope Pink is now as well!!!)
Kyle - i LOVED Crystal Palace, i wish i was coming with you - im hoping if we can save enough Tesco vouchers we will be able to go again the end of next year, if not, the year after!!!
MrsMcawber - hope your leg will be better soon, i knew i had turned into my mum when i told DS to pick his feet up, because he was scuffing his shoes!!! I hope your washer keeps going!!
((HUGS)) to all those feeling poorly, or who would just like one!!
My head still feels 'heavy' but im still having problems getting to sleep, and then staying asleep - im still tempted to go to the doctors for some pills, but its finding the time.
Have been to Tesco this morning with the LO, had him laughing by playing boo, and he was charming the old ladies with his laugh, which is lovely to hear.
Im also in the process of making a lamb stew for dinner tonight - i love it now its colder and i can make more stews - its a great way of getting all the veg my 2 wont eat into them - this one has butternut squash, sweet potato, cauli, brocolli, carrots and swede in, as well as 2 types of lentils and pearl barley so very healthy - and there will be enough left over to freeze for next week too, so we had roast lamb yesterday, with enough left over for 2 extra meals for the 3 of us.
DS has football after school today, and then football training tonight so we will be busy running around later.
Right, im off to play with LO and an activity cube!!
Have a lovely day everyone,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Hugs to Mrs Mcawber, lots of rest xx
So glad master pink has come through the op ok, hugs to him, and pink, she must be so relieved xx0
