    You'll get there YM hun.

Benben is amazing isnt she - I wish I could achieve half of what she does :o

Definitely. I'd like to find out where she lives as they must have days that last 48 hours there in order to fit everything in...:rotfl:

As for achieving half of what she does, I'd settle for a tenth some days...

Thanks all. Grand plans? I'm not so sure, I'd rather think of them as little steps towards living some sort of semi-normal life really and trying hard to get organised. People like Benbenandme are ultra-organised despite being single parents yet I can't achieve that despite being on my own for five days out of seven....

Anyway, positive start to the year. Filled in the new HB and CTB form for this place. My income from self-employment is small so I have to top up with HB, I'll take the form down tomorrow to the office rather than post it.

Didn't even go out of the house today, naughty me. Spent nothing so nothing to report.... :D

Aw hun, benben is amazing, I'll give her that :D But you are trying to do stuff and we all work at different paces... mine is v. slow! :rotfl:

Well done on your form filling, now I feel like I haven't done much today :o:o:o . Great guns on your NSD

Owing to an unexpected occurrence, I didn't get the chance to hand the council forms in so that's second job tomorrow after an hour's work.

Almost a non-spend day again except for a tenner spent on petrol from Tesco's....

Glad to see you are so positive YM. I hope that 2008 is better for you? I am sure that it has been covered somewhere, but have you thought about getting a part time PAYE job until your self employment picks up?
    best of luck

Yesterday was almost another non-spend day again with just a £15 petrol spend to add to the debit column. That's only £25 spent in three days now which is good for me really. It's a bit easier at the mo as the ex g/f is staying temporarily with me and she's coughing up for the shopping at the moment.

Had a phone call from Home Delivery Network last night. I work for them during Jan / Feb, April, July and October on their catalogue dropping campaigns. I'm the second longest serving courier they have and as such I get to pick my route and amount. I normally go for around 350-400 books a week to fit in around other commitments but this time I'm going for it and I've asked for 3,000 for the four week period. This would earn me around £1,200 which would go a long way towards clearing some niggly little debts I have and to repay back my friend for his kindness. It seems a huge jump in work but I can easily do 150 a day ( about five hours ) and still do the school run that I'm doing at the minute...:j . It will also send a signal from my brain to my heart that I'm serious about getting myself straight by May 1st. One of my other customers booked a job for next Wednesday / Thursday too so 2008 is starting off well.

Speaking of which, I weigh in at football training tonight. Trying to lose a fair bit of weight by my 40th so am doing it sponsored. Need a witness to see me at my highest weight so off I go tonight. The catalogues always help me with that as the weight normally drops off me when I'm running about doing them.:D

At work, no time to post but will do later!

So glad you are back, really missed you around here!

    Sad aren't i!?

PS i've done catalogues and it's great as long as you don't get anywhere too rural, or each one takes 10 minutes!

    Hi Maz,

Awww thanks for that. Nobody's ever missed me before. Except for the sniper my ex-wife hired when we divorced....:rotfl:

The catalogues are pretty much in my own area and I live in the suburbs of Bristol. I can crack on with around 40 an hour if I'm steady and don't try to do too much.

Almost a no-spend day again:D except for the £3 I spent on taking DS2 and DS3 football training tonight.

    and the weigh in????

What about it?        :rotfl:

I put on a fair bit over Christmas but tonight it's started. I produce a newsletter for the twins football team and its due out on Sunday week. Once it appears in there, there really is no going back, I'm afraid. I run the club website too and it will be going on there tomorrow too.

20 stone 9 lbs was the damage      so I now have 117 days to lose a goodly amount of weight. That is 16 weeks and five days. There will be two catalogue campaigns in that time and, as mentioned earlier, weight falls off me then. Going to be good fun trying though...:D
