    Not a no-spend day today! ;)

Spent £10 on diesel for the van and delivered 170 catalogues with my friend John. Treated him and I to lunch ( roll + crisps = £3.72 ), we eat cheaply you see:T . Didn't have time to make tea after finishing so bought a sarnie, bottle of water and a Crunchie for £2.33, sorry, while getting £10 petrol for the car.

Off to London tomorrow so will be spending circa £30 on petrol and £8 on congestion charge:mad:

As predicted yesterday, I spent £30 on petrol, £8 on the congestion charge  , £6.09 on lunch ( should have made lunch, ended up getting at Reading Services ) and 35p on the Sun newspaper. Highest spending day this year but I'll earn just under £100 for the job so well worth it.

Well done Yeovil, you can't beat yourself up over the spending as you did earn some money! And it's easy to spend lots more at service stations, I know that :)

I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
    (it's part of my charm!)
  • Spent £11 on diesel today ready for Monday's catalogue exertions. Also spent £1.95 in Somerfields on 4 pints of milk and a bottle of squash.

Finally got myself a bed sorted tonight too. For those viewers new to the thread, my ex g/f and her daughter and our two kids moved in with me to flee her violent b/f two weeks ago. I didn't have enough beds to go round so have been sleeping on the floor this past fortnight. Tonight I sourced a single divan in good nick with a heaboard for...wait for it.....NOWT! Nil, Nought, Zero! Free to a good home so brought it back and have now set it up.

    :T

    Not really...:D

Just weighed myself and have lost 5.6kg according to the scales. I had coat, jeans and trainers on when I first weighed in whereas tonight, I just had a tee shirt and boxers ( calm down ladies  ) as I was at home. That's twelve pounds off which is really good.:T
  • Very quiet day today to be honest. Only spent 55p and that was about an hour ago when I remembered to buy today's Sun newspaper for the holiday token...:D

Slept much better last night in a bed, floors that are used as beds are very over-rated.

Realised today just how much I love my kids.:kisses:

  • Another quiet day today.

Went to see my oldest two children down in Dorset today so spent £13.50 in petrol and 90p on a "News Of The World" as they are offering a free football sticker album + stickers today for DS2 and DS3 to collect.
