I don't think you should come back to Manchester.

You might want to google 'pelvic floor exercises' too.

I think you might have a water infection, its not normal to go to the toilet that often, or you must be drinking laoads of water after each time ypu go.

They wanted you gone from that hotel,

They understood that you need clear instructions and a deadline you would take notice off.

    Yeah I figured that.

Maybe they have had people say they will come back for their bags and they left them there for days.
That's maybe why they were being so strict. Because some people abuse it and might have been using the hotel luggage room as a storage place when it's not.

They don't charge you for leaving it there so you can see their point.

At the station left luggage you are paying for it and they allow you to leave it there for several days as long as you pay for the time.
Not that you would but they do allow it.

But they don't at the Premir Inn. At least not at the one I stayed in.

Except, if you had asked them, they could have told you that you could get off at a station, pee and get back on a train, with the same ticket.

Whether or not lots of people can pee on a train is not the point. annbarbs, life doesn't have to be as complicated as you make it.

Yes that's what I wanted to do.
Get off the train at the next station and take my bags with me of course and use the toilet there.

Then wait for the next train and get on that to continue my journey to London.

I would have been happy to do that even if I had to wait another 20 minutes or so for the next train.

but as I said I don't know if my ticket would still be valid or not if I did that, or I would have to buy another one.

But I would have paid again if they made me.

Better to pay a bit extra money for another ticket. Than to be bursting to go to the loo for nearly 3 hours.

My ticket was a first class off peak single from Manchester to London.
So I don't know if I could have broken my journey on that. Or if they would have made me pay again from whatever station I got off at.
I don't think you should come back to Manchester.

    No maybe I shouldn't.

Although I am thinking of going again for another holiday but I am not going to move to Manchester.

I am still wondering if I made the right decision or not staying here where I am in my HA flat and my area.

Of course my decision is not final.
I have not signed a contract saying I must stay here or stay here for the rest of my life.

I can change my mind anytime and move to Liverpool or where I want.

I am saying this because I cannot help wondering that I made the choice to stay here based on my not so good experiences with the hotels.

I was in a hotel which in itself put me under a lot of stress with their check in and check out rules.
As well as the fact that I could not really tell the staff I have mental health problems.

And the limited time I could stay there made it difficult to go out looking for properties.
And even if I had gone to the letting agents I would still have had to be up there to view them.

And that means another hotel and it is difficult to get hotels in Liverpool because it is so busy there.

Which is a problem in itself.
So now I am starting to think the reason I did not like it in Liverpool was because I was in a hotel.

If I had to be in a hotel in Essex I would also not like it.
But when I go to Liverpool I have no choice but to stay in a hotel or hostel. Because I am too far away from home to go back to my flat.

So if I look for or view any properties up there I will have to stay in a hotel.
There are cheaper ways of doing it such as stay in a bed and breakfast.
And there are 2 tourist hotels I could stay in up there.
But they are not as nice as the big hotels like Premir Inn or Travel Lodge.
    Nope.
I don't know if I would like to be in a hostel.
I used to stay in one when I visited Liverpool in the past, before I got my inheritance, but it was not so nice as the hotels.

It's not normal to need to pee so often. Most people don't need to go for several hours and can usually hang on for a while longer if necessary.

Have you been to the doctor about it? As Prosaver said, you could have an infection or something that's casing you to need the toilet so often.

    annbarbs, please be honest.

I don't think getting off the train occurred to you at the time. If it did, why didn't you do it? Why didn't you ask a member of staff whether you could?

It's OK to say "I didn't know that but I'll bear it in mind for next time."

That's what I am trying to say.

I did not know if I could get off the train or not to use the toilet at one of the stations at the stops on the way to London.

Because I though if I did that my ticket might no longer be valid and I would have to buy another one from whatever station I had got off at.

But even if it had not have been or I had asked the staff and they had said "No you have to buy another ticket because you can't break your journey,"
I would have bought a new ticket.

The problem if the stops on the way to London Euston on that line are Stockport, Maccalsfield then Milton Keens.

I think there might be toilets at Stockport but maybe not at the other smaller stations.

And I got caught with the toilet at Maccalsfield, well between that and Miltion Keens. Which are an hour away from each other.
And there might not have been toilets at those stations or they might have been closed.

As they close the toilets early at the smaller stations.

So, again, you could have asked a member of staff for this information (and for information on toilets), which you did not do.

    Next time you could ask.

Macclesfield and Milton Keynes have toilets that are open for as long as trains are running, as does Stockport. Macclesfield and Stockport are both within half an hour of Manchester, surely you wouldn't need the toilet that quickly?

I kept wanting to pee because I drank too much water.
I do drink a lot of water more so when I am nervous.
And it was very hot then and the hot weather makes you want to drink more.

But even if I hadn't I still want to go after an hour or so.
You can't keep it up for 2 and a half hours.

Why not just go to the toilet as the train is approaching a station then you can pee while the train is not moving. I regularly travel by train for a 5hr journey and manage to use the loo without problem. And drink less water.
