Petition:Disallow mobile networks from not including 0870 calls from inclusive mins
Ive created a petition on the pm's website can people sign it if you agree to:
Mobile phone networks are not including 0870, 0845 etc numbers in there free minutes that we all pay for, force them to change back. Mobile networks are all charging over 20p per min for these numbers due to there terms and conditions changing this month. You will find out on your next bill, so don't delay.
Click:
http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/MobileNetworks/
Please email this text your mates and family as I'm sure every person that has a mobile network agrees. In the mean time please use: www.saynoto0870.com and search for them none geographic numbers that are included in your mins starting 01,02,03.
If we get as many signitures as possible then we might get the bill to stop them from doing this!, Its not hard to sign!
Please please please tell your friends.

Shouldn't this also apply to landlines? A lot of landline providers do not include non-geographic numbers in their free periods. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

No becuase landlines have always charged for these services, mobile networks have only just changed there terms. There is things on hotukdeals and here to end you contract becuase of these terms changing, but ive got a wicked deal so dont want to loose out. 500xnet and 550 texts and 1mb download for £15 per month.Kind Regards

The problem with saynoto0870 is that a lot of these geographical numbers just refer you back to the 0870, etc, number.0

As if they are going to change back! Do you know how much they were losing every WEEK with these numbers being used as access no's? £5mil!! 5 million quid a week!:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

Im sure if the gov tells ofcom to do the biz it will change back. They are not lossing 5 million, where did you hear that crap. If they charge £35 for 500 mins to a customer that only uses 50 mins per month then they are in pocket and every premim text you send they are in pocket to. If they where loosing 5 million then they would have stopped this 5 years ago lol.Kind Regards

I work for a mobile phone company.
They are being charged for people who use them as access numbers to dial internationally.:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0 -
UKBill 69:- I agree to a large extent. It's another attempt at a cartel so no-one breaks ranks.
stacey21:- yes, I recall you work for O2? I don't they buy that argument. By accessing the access number it only costs the access number price!0 -
Plus mobile networks charge a bomb for international calls when you take your mobile on holiday, so they aint short of a penny or two.Kind Regards
