I decided I'm going to go to the trial week at the job. Will make the changes I want to make easier if it all works out!

HI I've not really replied much beyond the ironing bit (!) but wanted you to know I'm thinking of you. I was married to someone who is self employed and he would often work but not share his income resulting in me having to improve my job and try to be employed and self-employed in a bid to keep everything paid (and is the main reason for me having ended up with consolidation loans). There were other reasons too as to why we separated but It took me 5 years to get the strength to change the situation. It isn't easy but I know that life now is much better than the life I had been living. No one can tell you what to do or not do but I do understand how hard it is to make any changes and how it's almost futile to do so til you know that it is the right thing for you and the right time. Hope that makes sense.

On a practical level is there any help you could get from income support or tax credits. Can you get advice from CAB? I'm just concerned for you about next week if your OH only has 1 day of wages...can you make enquiries about what help is available in such circumstances?

Thank you, The job is definitely something that makes moving forward easier if it can be fit in around youngest.

Not sure about benefits tbh, I doubt it, I've only claimed when I was single and quite unwell and going through some treatment. So no idea. We'll manage somehow. I have some money from PA waiting to hit circle and I can manage without a grocery shop next week if needed etc.

Cashed out £5 Amazon from Swagbucks and £5 Amazon from I-say.

A trial at the job sounds great, good to see what it's like and if you enjoy it. What job is it? Just checking - it's not the one where you thought your health would suffer?
