We managed to get to the park today, blew away the cobwebs.

Kids are in the bath now and they've had dinner. Nearly bedtime :D

Going to get on with decorating loads to do! The rest of the painting things are coming tomorrow so hopefully next weekend it will be ready for a new carpet (£30). I'm hoping by next friday I'll have enough in PA for the girls bed and built Amazon back up enough to cover curtains and single bedding (No curtains and only toddler bedding at the min)

Found a cheap carpet for £30 online. I've ordered a free sample but anything is better than nothing! I can fit it myself.
  • Good luck with the decorating HI.
Not sure if I can post it, so it might disappear, but we had our girls beds from strictly bunks and beds (They are also on amazon) was the cheapest we could find at the time and have been strong sturdy beds (although great scratching posts for the cats) they could also be bought through Amazon, it was 2 years ago though so may have changed.
LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554
    Mortgage@1 June 18 - £76350
    Total debt @june 18 £102311
    Debt Jan 25 £8282
Mortgage £51215. Total debt now £59497

Good for you, Hidden. I know you're concentrating on the debt (and doing it very well) but it's nice to see you getting somewhere with the house. I know that was getting you down a bit earlier on. A little bit at a time and you'll get there with that as well. As for fitting a carpet yourself. Wow - I wouldn't know where to begin.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Hidden not sure what type of beds you want , but I noticed there are always people getting rid of beds on local Facebook selling sites. Sometimes they are virtually brand new , obviously you may want to buy your own mattresses. Just a thought to add to your venture.

Thank you, I'm not on Facebook but I am watching quite a few on eBay it's getting them here that I'm finding the problem.

I think we're going to have a quiet one today, sun seems to be showing itself so they can play outside and I can get some jobs done out there.

Hope everyone has a lovely day x

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

There's quite a few on gumtree, but the quotes of a 'man and a van' to deliver is huge!

You could ask the seller if they would deliver for an extra £10/£20.

We have given away items before and the people gave us something for petrol as they don't drive.

    What EE said lol ^^^^
Some folks are quite happy to deliver for a few quid extra, particularly if they really want to shift what they are offering (never know, they might even do it for nowt extra)
