I have called everywhere today, I need to pay the £60 as that was due obviously why it was joint. The repayment on the new one will be less, she agreed over £300 a month isn't practical especially now, so at least I know going forward it will be easier to keep on time.

Helped mum with some bits, just fed the kids after getting home and their bath running, then I think we will all crash for an early one ;) Hopefully not disturbed by selfish neighbours drilling and hammering till 2am. Or I might just have to return the favour ;)

Can sympathize with the drilling and hammering. It's like living in the middle of a building site here at the moment.
I am glad that you've contacted everyone. Hope you manage to get the money you need.

  • Hey Hidden,

Just checking in and catching up and you are doing great. Sure with how resourceful you are and how good you are at doing the surveys that you'll be able to find the £60 in time- fingers crossed that more PA stuff becomes payable for you (i used your referral link but never get any surveys so gonna keep checking tomorrow while i'm off work in the hope that some appear!).

Thank you DTD if you're using a laptop/desktop on chrome there's Visualping but on others I'm sure there's similar, you can set it to notify you when a study pops up. The huge post of alerts has been deleted but there is a new one over on the boost your income board.

I'm sure I will find enough to cover everything, we have plenty of food and can actually 'live' of very little, I guess I should take advantage/enjoy it why the small's are still happy to do all the free things :)

Another morning done :D Only 3 more to go ;)

No plans today, cleaning and ironing at home and just pottering around. Plans I had made have been cancelled last minute (kind of glad :o)

Small's are in school and away to their new classes they go into in September so they can meet their teachers, so glad this year we have landed with nice ones again, I don't really see eye to eye with DS teacher this year :o He thinks holding back the ones who are further forward until the ones working below them catch up is the best idea, however this means DS gets bored and then crys about going to school because its boring and he just has to sit copying things he's already done  Anyway thats the end of that and next years a new start with someone I already know.

I don't agree with your DS teacher but what do I know. My boy is absolutely the same and gets bored easily as he flies through the work. Hope your DS teacher is better next year. At least you know them.

You sound very on the ball with everything happening in life. It will all work out for you. I'm positive of that.

    :)

  • Great news on the council tax Hidden, do you think you'll be able to get the £60 together this week? Got my fingers crossed that PA comes through with some great surveys for you.

I got an email from Circle this week that they are ditching the £20 threshold for "free" cash outs - I need to double check that because I'm now worried that I've read it wrong but maybe that would help a bit with your cash flow?

I'm not sure I'll sort it this week, cutting it a bit fine for PA to become payable then it go through to circle, then to the bank (although this bits now within an hour) I won't have tax credits etc either this week now the claims closed and waiting for the new one to be sorted :o Stressing/worrying going on behind the scenes :o

I'm sure it will all work out somehow though :) x
  • Are you able to make partial payments on the Council Tax? If you pay what you can now and then make other payments during this week? At least that would show them that you are trying?
I know that some places don't allow partial payments so this might not work.
