pigpen congrats on your new baby cousin - awww!
Been up all night with DD2 - she's throwing up for England Bless her! so neither of us has had much sleep and we finally dropped off at 5.30am *yawn* so no school today...... I feel rough! She's sipping water at the minute so fingers crossed she keeps it down, she's also 'starving' but told her to see what the water does first. She's asking for noodleslol
Not doing the Flylady list today as will probs be getting the filler and sander out in there later on, will be S&Sing it though cause there's last nights tea dishes everywhere yak!
pigpen I'm up for sending everyone Christmas Cards, it will be great to actually send some, other than the kids and immediate family and two neighbours I don't have anyone else to send to, and, like you it would be nice to get more than the kids for once

load DW
Go to P.O. (if littleys up to it)

Wow - it's only 10.15 (well it was when I started to type this) on Monday, and already there are 2 pages to catch up on. Morning everyone!
Lots of people to mention:
Welcome to all newbies, and returners (nice to see you all back).
Well done Becca for being smoke free for a whole month!
Thank you pigpen for the list this week and all of your efforts in trying to please everyone with weekend lists (I liked it but didn't manage to do any cos I met up with some friends from London) and now christmas cards (I like the sound of this too as I don't have many friends either, and my 67-year-old MIL gets more cards than I do - just concerned about the cost of all of the stamps). Don't work too hard though - we don't want you being ill.
Sorry to hear about all of the problems you are having with your new house lil_me - I definately think that the landlady shouldn't be storing her stuff and charging you for the privilege (sp?) - good luck with the estate agents, but I'm sure that she must be contravening some of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement (ooh look at me using long words first thing in the morning). As for the van rental, have you tried looking on the internet? When I moved all of my stuff here from uni, we hired a van for £60 (big ford transit with an automatic tailgate (is this right? - it had a platform on the back that went up and down when you pressed a button) for 2 days. It was a few years ago now, but just a thought (wish I could remember who it was for you).
Poohbear I'm really sorry to hear about your Dad - if you need to let talk, we're very supportive on this thread, and we don't mind posts that are unrelated to flying, so please don't worry about that.
Turra I use vinegar in my kettle to descale it, that way there are no nasty chemicals to get rid of at the end. I just use whatever vinegar I have around (fill up with enough vinegar or vinegar and water solution to cover the element, boil the kettle - careful how much you put in, cos it can boil over, and then pour it away). I usually boil the kettle a few times afterwards with just water in it to take any taste of the vinegar away. Also, just a small tip, but open the window if you can, to prevent the whole house smelling of vinegar. For the fridge, I have an antibacterial spray cleaner that I just squirt on and wipe off. If it is really mucky, I take the shelves out and wash them with washingup liquid first, dry them, and then spray just to be extra careful.
Glad you are feeling a bit less sick Michelle - haven't made a stirfry for a while now - must try to encorporate one into my mealplan this week, as I'm behind and haven't done mine yet.
So what did you end up having to do then in the end Nicki?
Susie I'm very jealous of you going to Orlando - I haven't been on holiday at all this year, and doesn't look like we'll be able to afford to for a while, and I'm really missing going away. Hope you have a fantastic time.
Solway I read about your date - sounds like he's a keeper - glad you had a good time.
embb hope your LO feels better soon. I remember only being allowed toast with bovril on when I was ill, although it would have to be marmite now cos I'm a veggie.
Hugs and hellos to anyone I've missed, and good luck with all of the flying this week. I'm meant to be starting a new temp job tomorrow (working at Jaeger) so will have to catch up in the evenings. I've got my graduation from my PGCE on Saturday so looking forward to seeing all of my friends from uni again, as we haven't seen each other since July.
Off to find food and get dressed and then get on with the flying. Must remember to do my mealplans as well as the usual list, and post of my phone contract cancellation letter so I can start up my new Sony Ericsson K800i.

Morning all
Sorry to hear about your Dad, poohbear
Welcome to all newbies
One load of washing done and hung upstairs, pouring with rain here.
Kitchen: Front of all units cleaned with Stardrops, worktops disinfected. Vacuumed floor. Cleaned windowsills (and cleaned off cat snot). Decrumbed toaster and stardropped the outside. Also did microwave inside and out.
fridge is nearly empty because it's shopping day tomorrow so that has been well wiped out and tidied.
And I've been to the Post Office (in the rain!) and posted DS's birthday cards. Hopefully they'll get there before the strike - they should.0 -
Morning everyone...
I've been cooking this morning, making lasange for dinner tonight and garlic butter. I've also stewed some cooking apples to make crumble.
Going out for lunch at 12, so will do some flying in the litchen and then do the rest when I get back. Still feeling a bit rough, DH now feeling rough too.
I loved the weekend list. I didn't do any of it, but I imagine when I'm feeling a bit more organised, then I probably would.
Like the idea of sending Christmas cards...who do I send a pm to?
Many hugs, much sympathy and happy thoughts to those having a rough time. xxxx0 -

Well I'm just having a break - the only thing I've done so far from pigpen's list is ' wipe windowsills and clean windows' but it's taken well over an hour! I've taken the curtains down and put them in the WM, cleared the window sill off which was covered in all sorts from medicine to the kid's paints, cleaned the curtain rail which was manky, cleaned the wallpaper and tiles surrounding the window, cleaned the actual window and that's it!
I've had an application form through the post today so I need to have a look at that at some point today.
I also went outside and put my new tax disc in the car which I noticed when I took the ironing upstairs that I did earlier on.
Hope everyone else's having fun!
