Tracyg - WOW - that sounds a lovely day - I had something similar when pregnant - a facial, manicure and day in the spa! Would love it even more now though - could really do wth a day off!! Hope you have a lovely relaxing day.

Why does going to work take so much time!!!

    grrrrrrrrr

By the time I got home from work it was 13:30 hr. Folded up some washing.. stuck WM on again... hoovered the downstairs.. did school run.
Came home.. did a trip up to Lidl.. where little squirt decided to pee her pants.. which made her walk REALLY slow all the way home due to wet sticky pants...
now it's 4 oclock already and I haven't even started on the kitchen yet!!!

AAARRGGHH!!!! If I just didn't have to go to this flaming office everyday I'd have enough time to clean my flipping house!!! :rotfl:
I'm having me a cuppa, and wondering if it's worth starting on the kitchen now as I have to start cooking in an hour anyway..
Might as well just do some ironing now, and clean kitchen after dinner...

    Afternoon all,
Have barely got anything done today. DH working from home and having some serious phone calls so trying to keep the noise down.
I think I will do the kitchen after dinner tonight, though its not actually that bad. Might leave the extras till tomorrow. DH is away from tonight till thursday, which gives me plenty of time to sort it all out.
I've got to sort my car MOT as well.....
    See you all later.

    hi all

rach - thanks for the update on the gossip and hope you enjoyed your hols - where did you go ?

lil_me - glad the housing issues are getting sorted - when are you moving

pigpen - ROTFL at the "intimate" hair loss :rotfl:

solwaykid - how did the date go ?

sexymouse - surely you are not still chasing Zizzi's for money ???

Everyone else - hope you are all ok!
Everything going well here, breastfeeding going amazingly well, I was sure it would be well nigh on impossible with school runs, a very noisy boy just starting school and a whiny toddler and so on, but its going brilliantly. Nights aren't too bad, worst thing is DS's behaviour in general has gone form bad to worse, and DD1 is mega whiny, cries at everything. They both, not surptisingly have reverted to a younger mode than what they are ie DS needs help dressing and DD1 wants to be fed. We are trying to just go with the flow though its immensly frustrating as it takes FOREVER to leave the house. anyway other than that all is fine.

Have decided, rather than attempting to fly each day , I am just going to post a list of what I have done, so I can see progress and get back into the habit of reading this daily, then maybe I can do some flying some days.

    So today I have:

    - got kids up and ready for school
    - walked DS to school and back
    - fed baby
    - put laundry away
    - put tumble drying on
    - hung up non TDable stuff
    - taken DD1 up to leisure centre so hubs can take her swimming
    - picked up DS from school
    - collected DD1 from leisure centre
    - made packed lunches for older two
    - fed baby
    - given kids their lunches
    - got DS ready for hubby to take him swimming
    - tidied playroom
    - "hosted" visit from health visitor
    - fed baby - twice!
    - got baby down for a nap (she is shuffling around so much I'm sure she won;t be up there for long...)
    - sat down with coffee, biccies and the laptop!!

    Still to do:
    - prepare tea - tofu and veg stir fry with noodles for me and hubs; veggies, noodles and chicken stir fry for kids
    - get kids bathed and to bed
    - probably baby will need about 3 more feeds before bed
    - put TD stuff away
    - tidy kitchen and playroom
    - make lunches for tomorrow

    Ongoing things to do:
    - thankyous for baby presents
    - hang up baby cards nicely
    - do DS's letter game from school

Right am going to get veggies prepared for tea and if I have time write a couple of thankyous

Well, the flying is not going too well today. Thank you for all the messages of welcome, particularly the good luck messages from Pigpen. There is no reason that we cannot get pregnant naturally as we already have DS, but I am getting on a bit (38) and other than a miscarriage 2 years ago, have had no luck. We have had 1 go at IVF, and are trying again after Christmas. So we have all our fingers and toes crossed!!!!
Anyway, have done nothing in the kitchen - other than daily S & S and the dishwasher empty, washing etc. I have moved some furniture around between the front room and conservatory, so I have not done nothing. But I dont know what the weather is like for you guys, but it has been raining cats and dogs all day, and I was working out in it for 2 hours so I am wet, cold and Miserable!!! Still, stove going on in a minute, nice and warm and toasty........yum!!
Off to keep DS quiet with games now hes home from school. Will try and update later.
Live on £4000 a year again for 2011

poohbear, sorry to hear about your Dad passing away, thinking of you all x

embb wouldn't we all :rotfl: I have friends who joined the RAF, one was piloting an airshow aircraft a few years ago which my sons thought was amazing when they got to meet him. I might even go back to the aircadets as a civi instructor at some point, used to be a cadet, get to spend a week on an RAF base once a year :D enough of an incentive for most :D

Right, eventually got contact details from the estate agents for the landlady, they basically didn't want to part with them before they got their fee. She seems really nice and it seems many wires were crossed when it came to emptying the property etc, I have said rent will be paid from when it is done, she's calling me when she knows when it will be finished. At least we're not in a major hurry.

Just booked the van hire, got price down to £120 for 2 days, about as good as I will get I think. Means we have it for the extra day to get rid of the flooring from in here & any junk, need to organise tip passes now so we can get rid of stuff.

Hope everyones had a good day, between going everywhere I needed to and calls etc to make I've done no flying, flinging or packing so will have to work super hard tonight.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
